Hi, just want to let everyone know me and my husband stayed here on a visit to barcelona in May'11. We thought the guest house was lovely and very clean, they would change bed covers and tidy your room every day + comfy beds...bathroom right...More
We spent a week here and it was like having our own flat in the city with none of the worries. It was nice to have a private bath en suite which was extra space and convenience for our longer stay...reserved months in advance...Billy's was...More
I found Casa de Billy by accident as I was mostly interested in apartment accommodation. So pleased I found them as really they combine a homely ( stylish) place to stay with approachable staff to assist you. here was a kitchen available at all times...More
This was a great place to stay. We were there for 7 nights and enjoyed them all. Ideal site - near the main square but far enough away, good local tapas bars and restaurants, elegant but comfortable furnishing and clean. Billy and the others are...More
Casa de Billy was absolutely perfect! Its centrally located, and has the friendliest staff. I had a late flight that got delayed and they waited for my friend and I to arrive which was late into the night. Billy and staff helped us with maps...More
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.

Hi. In regard to your question regarding Casa de Billy I can advise you of the bathroom configurations on the first floor of the B&B as this is the floor we recently stayed on. There are four guest bedrooms on this floor. Two have the bathroom contained within the room. The third room has a bathroom across the corridor. The fourth bedroom, which we were also offered, has a slightly strange set up. There is a heavy curtain to the corridor. Behind this curtain is a small area with two doors leading off it - one is the bedroom and the other the bathroom. So theoretically it could be classed as en suite but be aware that when you leave the bedroom to go into the bathroom, you have a curtain between you and the rest of the guesthouse. It is also at the front of the building, over the Grand Via which Billy warned can be very noisy. We took the bedroom at the back (Room J from memory). However there were a couple of issues that may bother some guests so I suggest you check out my review. I would also say that you should be very specific when booking about which room you get and be persistent. Billy and Joachim are lovely people and we enjoyed our stay but they took a while to respond to queries and some I had to ask more than once before receiving an answer. I hope you enjoy Barcelona!
