This place is highly recommended, the staff will help you with all that you need to find yourself around Barcelona and much more than that! Will help you also if they don't have to. Good value for money

This hostel is the second I've been to in Barcelona and I don't recommend it. It is not so clean (the under sheets were disgusting) and the bathroom is cleaned only once a day when a lot of people are using it. We waited for our room for a loooong time because of the cleaning that wasn't done but when...

Cant say enough good things about this place if you are in Barcelona for a few days. Really good location near the Arc de Triomf and other central sites. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Small hostel with only a few rooms but felt very safe with great storage facilities (with locking ability) and the beds offer curtains for privacy....

I stayed at Hip Karma Hostel for four days in June 2015. Although it is definitely not as good as a regular hotel, it's better than the normal hostel experience. There are computers and wifi available. The bathrooms and bedrooms were cleaned every day. The curtains around the beds are great for privacy. It works better if u have a...

Clean and confortable beds. Staff generally very attentive. The only thing I would suggest is that they should find a way to guarantee the booking other than charging a commission before arrival through the credit card (the reservation clause says the hostel MAY charge it, and it was the first hostel in many I have visited in Europe where they...

Not the best hostel I've stayed at, yet not the worst either. It was clean for the most part, except the showers in the morning, around 11h00, after everyone had used them, which is understandable. Friendly and accommodating staff that really interacts with the guests. Spacious common area, although it can get quite loud well into the night, especially on...

Good location, the manager is really friendly and happy to give advice on places to go and eat. Clean place, felt really at home. Having curtains on the bunk beds is ideal and something different which stands out. Highly recommend, good value.

Hip Karma Hostel was my first time staying in a hostel. I wanted to have my own experience and not what I have read or heard from other travelers. I found it to be very clean and quiet. The room that I shared was spacious and the linens were clean. The bathrooms are shared. Clean but really small. There's a...

I got my phone, iPod, makeup mirror and a shampoo stolen at the same time. Who is that desperate to steal bottle of shampoo laying on my bed? And paying for bed sheets?? This is ridiculous! They don't ID strangers anybody can get in and the rooms have no locks. The cleaning ladies seem suspicious. They also bring kids with...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
