Returned today after a 3 night city break. Hotel is in an ideal location to explore this busy city. Arrived early on Sunday left our bags and went out. On our return we had been upgraded to a de-luxe room overlooking Passeig de Gracia at the front of the hotel bags in room and bottle of Cava chilled in an...

We found Sixtytwo Hotel when looking for a small but stylish and central location for a 4 night stay in Barcelona. We read other reviews saying that the 5th floor Junior Suite was one to go for so we requested if possible. From the start the team were super helpful and quick to respond. We stayed in Room 501, with...

This is a really lovely, genuinely boutique hotel. Everything about it is special, the room, the staff, the lavish breakfast and the location. We loved the cava offered guests at 6pm each evening in the beautiful lounge/breakfast room. Our spacious room and ensuite had a small balcony overlooking the Passeig de Gracia which was fun for people watching and admiring...

Comfortable room, fine for 3 friends to share for 3 nights. Great value and location, not far to walk to shops, restaurants, bars and sights. We enjoyed sampling the cava each evening too! Just beware of the bar set up outside the hotel, make sure you check the price of a drink before you order....!

This summer me and my partner spent a couple of days in Barcelona and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay! Our room was on the ground floor and we enjoyed a "private" excellent terrace! As designers we were pleased by a really nice decorations and furnitures, and not to mention the great treatment given by the stuff...

I was worried about the location of this hotel, thinking maybe we should stay somewhere less modern, closer to Las Ramblas or the harbour. But it was great - right in the middle of the best shopping district, designer and high street, beautiful wide tree lined boulevards and two minutes away from two of Gaudi's best works. It was perfect!...

An intimate hotel in the centre of Passeig de Gracia offering instant access to the main shopping areas. Gaudi's 'Casa Batillo' and 'La Pedrera' are within easy walking distance and are a 'must visit'. Our room overlooked Passeig de Gracia and we had a diagonal view of Casa Batillo which is located within 200m across the street and looks spectacular...

This is my favorite hotel every time I travel for business. The staff is very polite and flexible, the service is impeccable every time. Only issue I had was once when I took a room on the first floor and seems there the walls are very thin and could hear everything in the nearby room. Ask for floor 2 or...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

The Sixtytwo Hotel Barcelona is the perfect hotel for those who enjoy the finer things in life and who appreciate privacy and personalised service. Tasteful touches courtesy of Moooi, Vitra, B&B and Philippe Starck give life to the hotel lobby and lounge, while the comfort of its 45 rooms is in part thanks to televisions by Bang&Olufsen, telephones by Jacob Jensen, taps by Tangent, Etro bathroom products, iPod stations, intelligent lighting systems and Nespresso coffee machines. At The Sixtytwo, all guests enjoy complimentary internet access. Our breakfast offer, including both a buffet prepared with fresh quality products as well as dishes à la carte cooked to order, will not leave you indifferent. The Sixtytwo Cocktail Lounge is open from 5pm until midnight. “if you are asking for a junior suite in winter, make sure to ask for the table in the room. Our Junior suite room 505 had the dining table in the balcony which seem very useless in the cold weather. Also because of the large balcony the room is as small as those regular room. ”
