I stayed in this hotel for two nights traveling for business and it really met my expectations. It is categorized as a 4 star and more-less all aspects are on that level. Rooms are big enough and very clean. Hotel seems to be new, or recently renovated, so everything is in good condition. Beds are very comfortable and aircondition was...

We were there for a business trip for 5 days in November. The hotel is located in an residential area away from the roaring center of Barcelona. To Rambla Pouble Nou, it's a 10 min. walk where you can have dinner. Nearer to the hotel there is neither any bar nor shop. Room amenities were ok, but nothing special. Breakfast...

A 2 night stay was thrown in with a cruise package, and what a nice hotel it is! Quiet in the district of Poblenou, you can walk along the beautiful seafront towards the city. The rooms are nicely kept and provide a nice sanctuary. Everything looks well maintained and cared for. I didn't eat in the hotel as I used...

The staff was often rude, the room was difficult to adjust climate ( alway too warm), the shower was cold, beds were uncomfortable! Our room faced a gas station and was noisy with window up to allow the heat to escape. The restaurant / bar area was staffed with the person at the desk and kitchen!

My boyfriend and I stayed in March 2013. The hotel wasn't in a good area, it was quite out of the way. The food selection was limited. It seemed one lady was in charge of everything, so had a long wait for our drinks in the bar. The room was too hot and we were unable to adjust the controls...

My friend loved the sauna and the gym altho' small was up to date and really clean. Our rooms were always cleaned exceptionally well, and sleeping was never interrupted or...

After reading the reviews online, my husband and I decided to stay at this hotel for our three day vacation to Barcelona. It is located in a not-so-good area but is about a five minute walk to the beach. It is located literally right across the street from a huge above-ground cemetery. The staff was very friendly and upgraded our...

We settled for this hotel as the ones closer to town were booked up. Its a decent, well maintained hotel, located right next to a cemetery but not in a touristy area. On the plus side, the metro station is fairly close, the beach is 5 mins walk & there is a stop for the Hop on hop off tourist...

Nice location only about 4 blocks from the metro. Rooms were clean and breakfast was adequate. The beach is only about 2 blocks away and if you're into junk food the McDonalds is close. The hotel bar was pathetic with a broken ice machine and over priced beers. 6 Euro for a beer is crazy!! And there are no ice...

Staying in Poblenou

Neighbourhood Profile
Poblenou
The futuristic Agbar Tower stands out from Barcelona's skyline in Poblenou. It is no coincidence then that this area of town is the newly crowned technological park of the city, its own mini Silicon Valley containing a tech incubator (Barcelona Activa) as well as a host of local and international high tech companies. To accommodate the onrush of new residents and workers, the area of Poblenou has seen a surge of activity in new high-rise residential buildings and two top-notch shopping centres catering to everyone's need. The ambiance of this area is calmer than the city center and the beautifully relaxing Bogatell Beach, popular with locals, is just a handful of blocks away.
