Have stayed in many hotels around Barcelona on business trips and was really pleased to find this one which I think is good value in terms of this city. Close to a metro as well as the beach, and therefore convenient for travelling to meetings but also nice place to relax in the evening, near to Rambla de Poblenou, the...

The location is great 5 mins from the beach close to the metro and also just a few mins away from the open top tour bus stop . The rooms are modern and spacious with a good quality Porcelanosa...

After having stayed at a 4 star hotel in Lisbon, Portugal, where the service was expemplory, we were extremely disappointed with the lack of service at this hotel. The hotel is two blocks from the Llacuna Metro station in a quiet area outside the main central city (approx. 20-25 minute metro ride) in an area two blocks from the Poble...

GETTING THERE FROM THE AIRPORT Take the T1 or T2 buses (depending on which terminal you land at) and they get you to the paca catalunia. Staying in Poblenou

Neighbourhood Profile
Poblenou
The futuristic Agbar Tower stands out from Barcelona's skyline in Poblenou. It is no coincidence then that this area of town is the newly crowned technological park of the city, its own mini Silicon Valley containing a tech incubator (Barcelona Activa) as well as a host of local and international high tech companies. To accommodate the onrush of new residents and workers, the area of Poblenou has seen a surge of activity in new high-rise residential buildings and two top-notch shopping centres catering to everyone's need. The ambiance of this area is calmer than the city center and the beautifully relaxing Bogatell Beach, popular with locals, is just a handful of blocks away.
