After booking this hotel through Late Rooms, I was a little unsure what to expect... But it was amazing!! The room was big, modern and pristine. The location was perfect for us, walking distance to many sites but just tucked away from the very touristy Ramblas area. Near to fab tapas and Barcelona's oldest wine bar. We thought the hotel...

From the outside and on their website this hotel looks pretty good. But in reality, the bedrooms are small, the difference from a normal one and a superior one is the access to a Nespresso machine and mini croissants! Oh, and normal bedrooms have big windows or a small balcony, while the superior has a little window... The overall state...

Dear guests , The fifth floor is the Club floor, and offers free services such as Nespresso coffee , pastries , bed 2 x 3 meters , bathrobes and slippers . The sixth floor has the same services as the Club , but have private terraces , as the property is in a historic building whose facade had to be...

Very enjoyable hotel. The staff was very helpful and kind. The location is perfect to get around town. However as in all the hotels we stayed in in Europe the beds are hard. They pushed two twin beds together to make a queen. This seems to be the custom . We were happy to be here instead of on the...

This property is small, but very comfortable. Late in the week it's used by cruise lines, especially Royal Caribbean and Celebrity for pre-cruise and post-cruise customers. Desk personnel are very friendly and helpful. BUT, BEWARE! This hotel is a target for robbers and thieves and management refused to do anything to prevent the robberies that are happening in the hotel...

I would give this Hotel a 41/2star for service, location and amenities. The Hotel is very close to shopping and Restaurants above the Grand Via, but close enough to the Ramblas. The roof top pool is great for a refreshing dip and the bar set-up is great. Upon arrival we were offered an upgrade to a sixth floor room with...

We recently stayed at the Silken Gran Havana hotel for one night prior to leaving on a cruise. We booked the hotel through our cruise line, Royal Caribbean. The hotel is in a great location. Just a few minutes walk to the nicest street in Barcelona. The hotel has a small bar and dining room (breakfast was included in our...

Dear guests, We always try to satisfy all clients’ requirements, but unfortunately in this occasion the Hotel was fully booked when you required the change of the room and we could not do the change. We are concerned about the soundproofing of the lift can affect the comfort of our guests and we are very pleased to inform you that...

Not too shabby for European 4-star , room was of a decent size. Location good : 10-15 minute walk to La Ramblas and Passeig de Gracia, plus a taxi rank and Bicing bike stand literally at the doorstep . Grocery stores and cafés nearby .

A good base for time in the city only a short walk 3 min from the centre. Clean room with all you would expect. They have a pool and sauna on the roof which is a bonus. We did not take the breakfast as at 19 euros we thought it a bit steep instead we took that at some of...

Despite a minor slip up with our reservation, the team were extremely accomodating and offered us free breakfast as compensation. The hotel is spacious, clean, well located (its very easy to walk to Barca's main sights / from Place d'Cataluyna for the bus airport shuttle - well worth it). The pool area is sleek & modern with ample seating /...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
