Very friendly staff, lovely clean room and the bathroom was bigger than most hotels. We arrived at 2:30am and checked out at 12pm for a stop over. Would recommend although not many places to park that don't cost at least €20-30. There is a coffee shop across the road and many other stores close by, the cathedral is only a...

If you are going to Barcelona, you need to get a central location and you won't get much better than Hotel Cortes. Just off Las Rambla, the main street in Barcelona, just down from Plaza Cataluna the main transport hub and where the bus from the airport drops off, and at the top of the Gothic Quarter where tiny shops,...

Stayed for 1 night in Barcelona, hotel ideally located in city centre close to placa de catalunya where all modes of transport go from and just a short walk down to the cathedral and the beautiful buildings in the gothic quarter. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean. There was only 1 towel provided (twin room for...

Close from Catalunya Plaza, airport bus, trains, metros, buses, shops, ramblas. You can do all walking. Very advisable. One thing, on 4th floor, gypsum walls!! If you like to hear everything from your room mates...!! Take it!! Bath ok, shower water gets outside. Room smal,l but good enough. European style. Breakfast ok. Clean.

The single best thing about Hotel Cortes is the location. You get off the bus from the airport, walk 2 minutes to Las Ramblas and take the first left on the way down. Its that easy. The hotel itself is clean but quite basic, you get what you pay for. We were at the back of the hotel which was...

I pick this hotel for its central location and right next to La Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya.Another bonus is the Metro right along La Ramblas and the nearby Catalunya Metro Station. This cosy hotel is situated along a narrow and busy street but the room is quiet at night. The staff are friendly and helpful with queries from their guests on local...

At a two minutes walk from La Rambla, four minutes from Placa Catalunya. Although a quiet location. An alright hotel, decent rooms, breakfast and price. This was my second stay at this hotel. Will book this hotel for my next stay in Barcelona too.

Superb hotel, great breakfasts with plenty of choice. Staff are very helpful and courteous. Cleaning is done to very high standard. Location is brilliant, just off Las Ramblas, but quiet. Plenty of nice shops and cafes next door, try the hot chocolate and churros, they are superb.

Thank Irene S
