Excellent-luxurious b&b. A rob and slippers are waiting for your comfort. The staff was very helpful. To the point of helping us with the our luggage. Very safe place. 2 security doors must be used before entering the flat. Very quiet. Large rooms! Looking out to the Main Street or to courtyard. In the center of one of the best...

We spent 12 days exploring Barcelona and environs and could not have hoped for a better home base than Circa 1905. The location, in an upscale neighborhood, was ideal. Transportation was handy for excursions or when we tired of walking. Our lovely room with balcony, the helpful, genuinely kind staff and delicious breakfasts were all a bonus. We ate at...

Circa 1905 was the PERFECT place to stay in BCN. Superb location and the staff is incredibly friendly & helpful. Adored the special Mallorca room with terrace. Every detail of the room and the entire place was very well done. Absolutely recommend this gorgeous and tranquil B&B!

Good location in the heart of Barcelona. Close to the Rambla and other landmarks. The cab wasn't quite sure as the hotel is quite small. The hotel does have an elevator after about the first dozen stairs or so. The room was sparsely furnished but quaint. Breakfast on the terrace was wonderful. There was some construction across the courtyard that...

A great location in a quirky building. Just across the road from Casa Mila, and short walk to the Gaudi designed cathedral. Beautiful rooms and the terrace is a must. Try to get a room on the terrace side, beautiful and fun to eat your included breakfast on. Great breakfast selection. Good aircon, nice bed and good wifi. Antique furniture...

We stayed in this lovely hotel in early September and were really impressed with the standard of accommodation. The hotel is quite small yet the rooms are spacious, clean and beautifully appointed. The location to Central Barcelona is perfect and the customer service and friendly personalities of Maria and her team made our stay a most memorable one. We can...

What a lovely place to escape to after a day of touring, shopping, eating and people-watching. Imagine a beautiful 1905 private home converted to a B&B, but with all the modern amenities: wifi, air conditioning, TV, etc. The owner, Maria, is an architect and her attention to details is impeccable. The old (mosaic floors, ironwork, gorgeous terrace off the bedrooms,...

This is truly a hotel done with style and a different luxury than what you may be used to. Rooms are very old, but extremely well kept. Everything speaks quality and the staff, Alex and the other 2 wonderful girls will help you with everything. Really, I mean everything. Very Underpriced for this area(Pg. De Gracia) in Barcelona.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
