In view of the temperature a swimming pool would have been welcome otherwise the Hotel was well appointed. A little further away from the Rambla than I had expected so did lots of walking and taxi rides

We stayed in this hotel at the end of May. The hotel is good, but maybe not quite the usual high standard of a Hilton. It is a bit old and in need of renovation and you end up waiting forever for the lift. But...More
The hotel has execellent staff and ambience, the rooms are quite spacious and well equipped. The location is also convenient for both business and for pleasure travelers. The quality of food and services in restaurants are excellents.

I came for a conference and had to stay one day less because of an emergency. Hilton would not change the reservation unless I paid the current rate of 500 euros. I paid 200 euros. Hotels blames it on Hilton and Hilton blames it on...More

Hi MotiAbuzi,
Greetings from Hilton Barcelona!
The hotel may provide a cot free of charge for the little one. I suggest you to contact us with your booking details so we can add it your reservation.
Shopping centres in the area are equipped with lifts to guarantee an easy access to strollers.
Visiting the city centre and accessing other touristic areas may require you to take public transportation. However, we suggest you to take the bus instead of metro, as there are still some stops without lifts, there are maps online with stops without elevator (sorry we are not allowed to share links)
Bus stop is 100m from main door, #7 takes you directly to Plaza Catalunya/Las Ramblas and #33 to Sagrada Familia area.
Also, so you know, taxis accept strollers and babies.
We are keen to welcome you soon.
Have a safe flight.

Hi Leicesterian,
Greetings from Barcelona.
As kindly mentioned by other travellers, it is very easy to get to the hotel by public transportation.
At your arrival to Barcelona International Airport - El Prat (either Terminal 1 or Terminal 2) follow the indications to take the Metro L9s towards “Zona Universitària”, last stop. Once there, transfer to Metro L3 Green-line towards Trinitat Nova and get off on the second station, “Maria Cristina”. Take exit Gran Via Carles III and continue along Avinguda Diagonal. Leave the El Corte Inglés Department Store behind and within 400m find Hilton Barcelona on the right. It is very easy!
However, you can always take a taxi, aprox. 30€/one way.
In that case, please bear in mind to provide the full address to the taxi driver, sometimes they get confused with our sister hotel.
Let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
Have a safe flight and see you soon.
