We stayed in room #5. Great room with an awesome balcony. Very close to the metro and other nearby sights. A lot of eateries nearby. We wish breakfast was served before 9 am but we knew that going in. A lot of freedom here as we very rarely saw the owners/managers. Just us and the other couples staying. Only complaint... More

This was out first trip to Barcelona. We already knew that this was going to be a great place to stay as friends had stayed there a few years ago. It certainly lived up to our expectations. The whole process from inquiry, to booking the reservation and directions for arrival were effortless. We were greeted by Pablo, who welcomed us... More

This is a lovely B&B in Barcelona. It's located in a residential apartment building and a little difficult to find, but with the photos and instructions from Roberto it was not a problem. It's on the 3rd floor, but there is an elevator, yeah! Lovely rooms, very clean, kitchen available with fridge if you want to fix a light dinner... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
