Stayed here for 4 nights at the end of September, we were in Barcelona for the David Bowie Is exhibition and to see the Rolling Stones at the Olympic Stadium. This hotel is very central to everything. It is right next to the 13th century...More
I hated rating this place as "average" because that seems misleading. The room itself was nothing special, and the bathroom sure could use a full shower screen. It was hard to avoid spraying the entire room. Beyond that... the breakfast was fine, if ordinary. Personally,...More

Fantastic location!!!! Staff were super friendly & helpful, giving us maps, directions and organising taxi's to airport.
The rooms are very large & super clean, as are the bathrooms. Loads of storage space. Beds & pillows very comfy.
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local
musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.

We arrived to Barcelona Airport and took a taxi to the hotel. I found the taxis to be relatively inexpensive and I took them other times around the city. The metro is also great once we got our bearings but you do have a further walk (from the Placa de Catalunya)- we got a 10 trip card but we were there for a week and you can use it on the buses too. One card can be used for multiple people.
