Stayed here for 4 nights this week. This is our 6th visit to Barcelona and, value for money-wise, this is probably the best hotel we have stayed in. The front of house staff were superb, I practised my Spanish every day and I do believe that, like anywhere in the City, they appreciate it. Room was spacious, spotlessly clean and...

The Regencia Colon Hotel is sited just opposite the Cathedral so is brilliantly located and always easy to find. Just follow the signs for the Cathedral. The staff are very helpful and our room was clean and well presented with a safe, flat screen TV, decent size comfortable bed, bathroom with bath, shower and hairdryer. On the downside, as it...

We were at the mercy of our trip booking company (European Destinations) and they picked a very nice hotel. We were so happy with the location, just a block from the Barcelona Cathedral and the Gothic section of the city. The rooms were large and clean. The breakfast was good giving us a nice start to the day. The wifi...

Wonderful location across from the cathedral. The hotel reception staff was very kind and helpful. Our room was clean and the hot water plentiful. Since it is an old hotel the walls the walls are thin and we could hear conversations from the room next door. There was a concert going on in the plaza late at night so sleeping...

Although the rooms were on the small size, the bathrooms were a nice size with a terrific shower, etc. The location was the best part of this hotel as it was around the corner from the Catedral de Barcelona. You can see it from the window ( and hear the bells every 15 minutes). It is also 5-10 minutes from...

Our family stayed three nights and enjoyed the hotel very much. Although close to the Cathedral Square and many people the rooms are well insulated and quiet and comfortable . There is a breakfast buffet. The location is convenient to La Rambla, the Metro and the shore and other Barcelona sites. The staff were helpful

We had a great stay at the Regencia Colon. Room is a pretty decent size considering its right in the city center of the Gotic District. 10 second walk from many shops, restaurants, and a stage where there was live music on several of the nights. Of note: if you get a room facing that direction there is definitely a...
