The staff was very friendly and always accommodated us by giving us great tips on what to do and how to get there (in English). The stay didn't include breakfast (additional charge) but the hotel is situated directly across the street from a grocery store and around the corner are many cafes. It's a 5 min walk to the metro... When you sleep every night in a different bed, the first thing you expect and wish is to rest in a confortable bed. This hotel was disappointing for this reason, breakfast nothing special as well. It didn't look as a 4 stars hotel, staff was efficient nothing to complaint. Not recommended.

Lovely hotel, helpful staff, excellent Breakfast, located right in the city, lovely area to visit. No parking available for disabled vehicle users only around the block area, parking out front is 20 mins only. We had breakfast in the bar as breakfast area was split level, Lovely but an access problem for us, The staff set up a table for... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in Barcelona and while we greatly enjoyed the location of the hotel which is close to the train station and metro, the hotel is dated. When we arrived at the hotel our room was one of the larger ones, but had a distinct smell of cigarette smoke, rather than change rooms we opened the... More

My partner, our 4 months baby and I, stayed here for just one night. The room stank of cleaning products (like A LOT). The hotel is very dated and old and with the cot in the bedroom we barely could move. The hotel is not definitely like a 4 stars. Staff is pleasant and breakfast was nice and with a... More

Probably one of the worst hotel I have been to. I have been charged extra fees without any authorization and the receptionist is going away from his desk during the night. Expect to stay at the door 35minutes before to be allowed to enter, without any excuses from him. I have never seen such an unprofessional and rude behavior from... More

The proximity to Sants is really the only reason for staying here. It's not a great hotel, but it's not bad either. Can't figure out how they make four stars, definitely no more than a three. Walls are paper thin, so you will hear neighbours, their TV, their phone calls. Breakfast is very average; nothing really appetizing, everything seems to... More

It is a small hotel, very quiet. My husband and i stayed for 5 nights here. It is very conveniently located to reach from an airport or any train stations. Barcelona Sants is a big railway station. We planned to go to Sitget after Barcelona. A room was good, good beds with not very good pillows. It was clean and... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
