Nestled in the Gothic Quarter, Hotel Rialto receives accolades for its prime location near Las Ramblas and various attractions, offering guests an immersive urban experience. The cleanliness and modernity of the rooms are frequently mentioned, though some guests have noted occasional amenity issues.
Reviewers consistently commend the friendly and helpful staff, enhancing the hotel's welcoming atmosphere, complemented by live music and a unique breakfast room. While praised for its value, including a standout breakfast buffet, the lack of in-room fridges and coffee facilities is a minor drawback for some travelers.

Detailed Reviews
Location, location, location, we were on the 4th floor with a balcony, has 2 twin beds, which we slid together, worked out great, large bed (my husband is 6’4). AC in room, great Wi-Fi. Bathroom: large shower, great hot water pressure, hairdryer, toiletries. Room: no smart TV, but fire-stick worked great, large closet with extra pillow and blanket. On the last day we discovered the breakfast buffet in the lowest level, WOW, huge buffet with everything you would want to drink (champagne) and eat for 10 Euro. Everything was labels with ingredients. The staff is wonderful, they gave me a kettle for tea/coffee, arranged taxi to airport, provided ice every evening, you can buy hop on/hop off tickets at hotel counter. You are literally in the midst of gothic quarters, million of shops, restaurants and supermarkets outside the front door. 7 minute walk to the ocean and 10 min walk to hop on/hop off route. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for five nights from late December into the new year and were very satisfied with our stay at the Rialto. We found it to be well-situated, well-priced, and comfortable. The breakfast each morning was outstanding and the room in which it is served is very unique and charming. The staff are very courteous and helpful, always offering a friendly greeting and ready at all times to assist with anything you may need.
All in all we were very satisfied with our stay at the Rialto and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation and excellent service at a good price in a good location. If we ever return to Barcelona we would not hesitate to stay here again.

This hotel is fantastic, it ticks every box you’d want on a city break. Upon arriving, we were checked in promptly (you will have to pay a tourist fee which is standard for European cities) by friendly reception staff. We stayed in a Double Room which consisted of two single beds pushed together, a clean and modern bathroom with a good shower and a view overlooking a quiet courtyard. The hotel (and rooms) are clean, tidy and modern. The only issue we faced, keycard not working (probably our fault for storing it by phone) was quickly fixed and the response from staff cannot be faulted. The hotel itself is located very close to Las Ramblas (<5 min walk) and is surrounded by local, authentic shops and restaurants. It’s closest Metro station is Liceu which is approximately a 3/4 min walk from the hotel. This can get you everywhere!

Great central location with clean rooms, rooms are very small and air on doesn’t allow you to change temperature, not tea coffee facilities in room. No bar in hotel and restaurant never opened, breakfast average at best, food cold and drinks machines always running out. Security was my biggest issue with random guests opening my door whilst in bed, reception refused to accept it could have happened so had to prove it did. Overall if you are going for a couple of nights and don’t need much from a hotel is fine.

Stayed for four nights here and it is in a great location in the Gothic quarter, about a 3 minute walk to the Cathedral, 3 mins walk to the nearest metro which is Juame 1 and also about a 5 min walk to the begining of the El Born district.
Hotel reception staff are friendly, staffed around the clock and the whole hotel was really clean, no problems at all.
I had a room on the fourth floor which was clean, spacious and really quiet despite the hotel being in a busy and vibrant location.
Lots of nice places to eat around the area and I would recommend Bosco a few minutes walk away...
For me one of the best areas is El Born for food and drink. If you walk 5 mins to Hotel H10 Montcada on Via Laietana and then go down the side street right next to the hotel, you will find a really interesting mix and array of eating places and bars to enjoy.
Would stay here again.

If you want a great value hotel just off the Ramblas in the Gothic Quarter, then this is ideal. Good-sized rooms, clean, modern, right in the centre of the historic quarter, means it's a great base for walking around the most visited parts of the city. 2 mins fro the Ramblas, 10 mins to El Born, Placa de Catalunya, Barceloneta, the marina, beach and more. Breakfast downstairs is fine - all the basics are there and for a few extra euros it's probably worth it.

We have previously visited in 2019 and the upgrades/renovations are absolutely beautiful! The shower is amazing, powerful and you can find the perfect temperature with ease. The light around the bathroom mirror was a nice touch too.
The room itself is super modern, we were on the second floor with 2 Juliette balconies and views out onto the courtyard/side street. The beds were comfortable, although we didn’t need to use them, the fluffy blankets were a nice touch. The safe in the room was free to use (and even worked during the wee power cut the hotel had on our last day) The hotel also offers room service from an outside company, plenty of options available, we ordered after a long day of sightseeing, good prices, big portions and delicious food.
Breakfast had lots of lovely choices and included cava if that’s what you fancy for breakfast. All the staff were lovely and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them.
The location is amazing. Not far from La Rambla and loads of interesting side streets to explore in the heart of the Gothic quarter.
Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Barcelona.

Because of flight cancellations, we had to overnight in Barcelona and found Hotel Rialto on Booking.com.
We were pleasantly surprised in many ways-the location is fabulous-lots of terrific restaurants around and wonderful alleyways to explore.
The reception staff were so gracious and we were able to drop our luggage as we arrived well before check in.
Our rooms (223 and 234) were small, but very clean and modern. My only complaint was that our window looked out to a vacant building -not the best view but it added to the Gothic area vibe. If we had been staying another night I would have asked for a better view.
They do offer breakfast for 10 E but we skipped out early to get to the airport and try to score a flight home.

First of: location is really good and breakfast is plenty.
However, rooms are tiny (I mean two adults can't pass each other tiny) and beds are rock hard. Bathroom was surprisingly big and good, except drainage smell if you used the fan.
We were staying at the hotel whe area lost power - now, I know it wasn't hotels fault and in their hands bit what was was communication with their guests. There was none. Like zero info.
Street side rooms get noise from busy street. That same busy treat is lovely when you want little shops or dining options.
All and all, our kid slept well, us adults were happy to move next location to get comfy bed.

A clean and well presented hotel ideally situated in the gothic quarter of Barcelona. A fantastic base from which to explore the city. Restaurants and shops all around.
We arrived on an early flight and were overjoyed to find our room ready at 12pm so we could drop our luggage and start sightseeing straight away. I found the hotel staff friendly at all times.
5 days (4 nights) break thoroughly enjoyed
