Me and my friend have just returned from three nights in Barcelona, and this hotel in terms of what it offered us both for a location and the friendly and curteous nature of the staff was brilliant. Now, I know some people appear to have given it bad reviews, and of course I know that everyone's expectations/experiences are different, but...

Overall I was pleased with hotel rialto. the location was really good, just off la rambla. we tried to steer clear off la rambla for dining out in the evening because it's very geared towards tourists so we tried to walk the opposite direction from there and look for restaurants in side streets. there is a square very close to...

Went for 2 night mid week, Rialto perfect for what we needed but would not stay for a full week as the rooms are a little too basic on that level. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom was nice.Consage were really helpful. We got the blue bus from the airport to Placa de Catalunya (center square) for 4.25Euro...

I had seen some good and some bad reviews of this hotel. My wife and I found the staff friendly, efficient and helpful. The room was simple, quiet and clean. Breakfast was a sufficiently varied buffet although the the fried breakfast was not great. For a European major city and central hotel this was excellent value for money

Stayed here as part of a hen party of 14 for a weekend. We were one of the lucky ones and got a room for 3 on the 2nd floor overlooking the main street with a balcony. The view was great but at night it was very noisy so I would recommend bringing along your ear plugs if you want...

Hotel is a 2 minute walk to Las Ramblas, variety of shops, restaurants, bars on Carrer de Farren. Closest metro is Juame 1, around 50 meters away. Room was basic but spotless, smelt a bit of varnish when we first arrived but got used to it. Was disappointed that there was no mini bar or hairdryer. Didnt go to bar...

We booked the Rialto because it was cheaper than any of the other hotels in the Ramblas. But we were a bit worried about staying here because the 2008 reviews of the Rialto were not good! However we were very pleasantly surprised and had a great 3 days here. Our 4 rooms were all clean and nicely decorated, with good...
