The staff are fantastic and friendly. You can't fault the location! Breakfast is very good too. But room is average with no fridge, no kettle, no safe, no slippers, no bathrobe, toiletries are cheap, the room smell. It's a very basic room even though I got the deluxe room with big balcony. You can here people walking from the hallway...

Very good hotel located just 5 minutes walk from Placa Catalunya and about 50 meters from Las Ramblas. When you are inside you are met by a modern design an very welcoming people at the reception desk.Quite small elevator. Room and bathroom nice and clean. Breakfast really really good. Over all a hotel to return to.

Fantastic central location, a few yards in from the top part of La Rambla (and close to Placa Catalunay for those of you taking the airport bus into town). A welcoming and helpful staff. Full breakfast, in a clean modern setting. Contemporary decor. Inviting and serene terrace...and all of this for an Incredible price per night - I paid only...

The hotel is clean, polite and helpfull staff, the breakfast was great with alot of the local fruits. The location was excellent too. Near starbucks if you want coffee to go before starting your day. The rooms are a bit small but enough space to hang your clothes and for a double bed in addition to the bathroom ofcourse.

Nice and clean hotel in a superb location, - just 30-50 meters away from Las Ramblas. The interior of the hotel is simple/modern/contemporary. The room in which we stayed was clean and a bit on a smaller side, though intended for two people. The bathroom is clean and contains all one can need including a hairdryer. However, the glass sliding...

Just a block away from the famous street called Las Ramblas, it is nicely situated with modern decor, amenities and a good amount of public space. It may not look like much from the outside but it is well-appointed on the inside. My only complaint about this hotel is the very hard stiff mattress they have for their beds, not...

We stayed for a long weekend for our anniversary. The hotel is just off La Rambla so is perfect for those who want to be close to the busy centre. The hotel is clean and tidy, the room was spotless and has all the basics. My only fault to pick is not the fault of the hotel at all. Be...

Very very good location just off the Ramblas. 5/10 mins walk to the local metro stations. We have a triple room as we're travelling with our young son. Room is big and clean, no tea or coffee making facilities and no wardrobes, just an open small hanging space which is fine for us. Bathroom is big enough, clean and has...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
