this hotel is in a brilliant location in the gothic quarter, it is clean, room's are of a good size, maybe ever so slightly dated, but marble floors and bathrooms meant it was still good, and it didn't bother our group of 6 23 year olds. Having 24hr reception meant our check in late at night was hassle free. Some...

My boyfriend treated me to 4 nights at the Gran Hotel Barcino for my birthday and it was the ideal place to stay whilst exploring the delights of Barcelona! We stayed on the 5th floor and had a lovely terrace that we could stroll out onto with a view of the cathedral towers. We requested a street view/balcony so were...

Great great location. Rooms were clean. A bit noisy even at 4th floor but still sleep able. A souvenir shop right in front of hotel gives 20% off to hotel guests. Small bathrooms with tub which is average. Small shops near by. Starbucks Costa and a reasonable Pharmacy in close vicinity. Would definitely stay there again. Nice courtious staff. Free...

Stayed here 2 nights with a party of 15 on a football tour. Hotel is well placed for all that Barcelona has to offer, which is a lot. It's on a very busy street so the noise into the rooms at the front are excessive at times. Especially into the early hours as Barcelona is a party city. It was...

I stayed here for one night and the hotel was fine. The location is good, being fairly equal between Barcelona Cathedral (not Sagrada Familia) and the sea. The hotel was clean but I felt that the rooms were quite basic. However, for the price we paid (half of some other options nearby) when you factor that in it was ok...

This hotel is all about location, which is superb, everything else is secondary. If you have problem sleeping with noises around you, avoid any room facing the street as the balcony doors letting all sounds through and Jaime is a very buzzy street. No self respecting traveller should stay at this hotel. We were given a room on the first floor. At night, we could hear conversations from people on the street, cars driving and partiers screaming until 5 am. Needless to say we did not sleep for the duration of our stay. Moving to a higher floor was not an option as...
