the hotel is clean and staff freindly. breakfast was reasonable.there was a pleasant little bar right next to the hotel the local shops were varied and location was perfect for our needs.we are booked next month for our second visit.
Just returned from 3 nights stay at this hotel, location ideal, just off Las Ramblas. Room was clean, but one of the pillow cases dirty, reception staff OK, but breakfast staff especially the waitress very rude, snapping at customers. Limited breakfast choice, no fresh fruit,...More
Our second visit and we loved it again - thank you to all the great staff. Location wise this is perfect for us. Close to everything and out of the bustle when you need a break. Check out the coffee and bakery across the road!

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
