Mother daughter trip to Spain made better by El Jardi. Wonderful experience! I loved this hotel and will definitely be staying again on my next visit to Barcelona. It is very clean and comfortable beds. I stayed in the twin room with a balcony. I would definitely recommend as the room was very spacious and had a beautiful view overlooking...

The El Jardi is situated not far from La Rambla in the Gothic Quarter. Our room had a balcony overlooking the square. I thought the cost was rather high for the accommodation. The room was ok, beds comfy, clean bathroom with good towels. I was disappointed that we did not have any tea making facilities. We paid an extra €6...

It's not only that it's in the midst of the Gothic quarter, very close to both the Ramblas and the metro and to so many nice places to eat and drink in; it's also the room balcony, being right above Plaça del Pi, which makes you feel the vibe of the city while looking down from it. The hotel is...

The staff couldn´t have been more helpful from the moment we arrived. Everything we asked for was dealt with straight away from extra pillows to a blocked shower drain. Please note though that the reception is on the first floor and the stairs may be an issue for some.

3 blocks from Liceu Metro. Basic room was clean but small. There is elevator access once you reach the entrance one flight up. Basic breakfast. Tapas bars within a few feet of the building. 24 hour front desk service, Wifi in lobby

I have always stayed on Las Ramblas but this time tried a block off. It was a great little hotel, reception is one floor up. You need to carry your suitcase up the stairs to reception then there is an elevator to higher floors. The room was average size, small bathroom but comfortable. Two big windows that opened onto the...

Concierge was unkind and unreceptive. Heating did not work in the room. Shower was too small for use (could not move arms away from body). The room was the size of a closet. Not sure if we received a poor room or an off day, but my stay was horrible. We could not sleep (too cold) and could not shower....

Totally loved the location - so central within the gothic area and easy to get to/from. Great staff, fair choice at breakfast (breads, cereal, jams, yougarts etc) and a very clean room overlooking the square. One issue that was funny, but prevents me from awarding 5 stars - we were in a room on the first floor, owing to the...

We opted for the larger room with the balcony for our 5 night stay. It was comfortable and very clean. The room had a safe, wifi, and a great view of the Plaza. It was a lively place on the weekend, listening to the crowds and singers. We could reach anywhere in the Gothic Quarter by walking and the Liceu...
