Nice hotel, and reasonable price. The hotel lies just a few minutes walk from La Rambla and the old town. The breakfast was good, and the rooms were fine. Nice and welcoming staff. If I go back to Barcelona, I wouldnt mind going back to this hotel.

This is our first visit to Barcelona. Staff are lovely but our hotel room is sooo small and stuffy. Worst we have ever had in Europe. Hurt myself on shelf getting past. The hotel is a short walk from Las Ramblas.

Great location, quiet and only a short walk to busy las Ramblas and Gothic quarter. Staff very friendly. Rooms pleasant, very clean with clean white towels and soft white comfortable bedding, much appreciated. Would definitely recommend!

Stay at the hotel was very good. We were upgraded from an economy to a comfort room free of charge on arrival which meant we had a balcony. Rooms comfortable and really clean. Staff very obliging, pleasant and friendly. Location was very good, just off las ramblas . Would recommend

The Hotel is very nice and clean, perfect location, Off the main Ramblas but close enough to be part of it. The only thing I have to say is the cooked breakfast was poor, I tried different times and it was always a bit dry and cold, the continental options where excellent but I like to start a long day...

We stayed for 3 nights at this great centrally located hotel in Feb 17. The check in was easy, the rooms clean and furnished nicely and the beds very comfy. The breakfast was amazing, with a hot and cold buffet serving traditional Spanish food as well as international breakfast staples. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because...

The hotel is located in a small road at 5 minutes walking distance to the Ramblas. It is a very strategic position for tourists, since you can reach Passeig de Graca in 10 minutes walking and Barcelloneta in 15 minutes. The hotel is clean and pleasant, offering a great value for a budget price. The rooms are confortable and quite...

The hotel is as the photos and the staff are keen to please and solve any questions. It is very near the Ramblas and quite quiet at night. Mind you the refuse men come every night and as the road is quite narrow it takes a little while to do the job. The only thing that I did not like...

This place is fab location wise. Right of La Rambles and down a quiet street. Hotel decor around reception is nice and while we waited until 4pm for our room, we were able to put our suitcase in a locker. But what is location really worth if you dont even get a decent night sleep. Breakfast was too expensive so...

We recently stayed at this lovely hotel. Great location not far from Las Ramlas, and close to the Gothic Quarter. Room was on the third floor at the back of the hotel as we had requested a quiet room, no complaints spacious room and very clean bathroom, safe and fridge provided along with toiletries. A good range served at breakfast,...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
