This hotel was a dream! Great location, super friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast buffet, comfortable beds, cold A/C, hot showers, and very clean, modern rooms.
We stayed here for 5 nights during the Primavera Sound festival in June. The air conditioning in the rooms worked GREAT which was so crucial with the hot, humid weather that week. Getting to the festival was a breeze with the nearby Tram stop. The late night walks home were safe and a straight shot down the Avinguda Diagonal. The breakfast has an amazing selection and tasted great every morning. We really appreciated that the buffet was open until 11am and still had lots of food when we visited at 10am.
We also fell in love with the area, less tourists in general and the diagonal avenue is so pleasant to walk on. Within walking distance is a Westfield shopping mall with lots of variety and even a Carrefour. The beach is a 30 min walk away and you can rent a beach towel from the front desk that comes in a handy tote for 3 Euro. The Rambla del Poblenou is another pleasant street to walk down and has lots of restaurants, cafes, sweets, and little shops.
Some service highlights: 1) Upon booking, we requested early check-in which was actually honored when we arrived. 2) When leaving, we wanted to see a few other things in the area before we departed and the front desk securely held our bags post check-out for several hours. 3) I actually forgot my makeup bag in the room after checking out, and only realized this a day later. I called and the front desk said they would ask the head of room services/cleaning if they found it. A few hours later, they emailed me saying they had recovered it and offered to ship it to me, but I picked it up the next day since I was still in town. 4) We often didn't leave our rooms until 3pm since the festival started late, but they still managed to clean our rooms. 5) All staff we interacted with spoke English very well.

Room - I had been upgraded to a Preferred, Guest Room, King City View, High Floor (23SqM) and to be honest based on my research I wasn't expecting (and needing) much. But I got a nice surprise when I opened my door - a very modern room in cheery colors!
The open concept wardrobe adjacent to the bed was quite a unique design I thought - I much prefer easier access to my stuff than fight with creaking doors or sliding mechanisms in a space like this.
The bathroom is quite decently spaced with alot of countertop space and generous shower s[pace. Toiletries here are ACTIV-branded - don't recall if they were good or not but any shower is a good shower after a 14hr long haul.
Breakfast - served at Gastro Corner at the lobby level from 7am-10am, the space was bustling at 8am but finding a seat for 1pax was not hard. No ambience to speak - more function than form here. The spread was a decent combi of hot and cold options, plenty of cheese and cold cuts of course. Decent enough coffee to start my time zone!

What I like: Location was great as it’s right next to a pedestrianised street with lots of food and drink options. It’s also right off the Diagonal Main Street so easy to get around Reception and check in was fast. The restaurant staff was cheerful and friendly. Buffet breakfast was good.
What can be improved: The phone did not work! Attempts to get it fixed was not done. The bath foam was not replaced by housekeeping even though it ran out. More diligence needed to ensure such details. No multi prong chargers and the USB charge ports does not work. Wifi was poor and did not work consistently leading to a lot of wasted time to connect.
By the standards of Four points around the world I have stayed this one is definitely average. And the cost was certainly very high vs what I got.

Only good things to say! We stayed here as a family of three for several nights in May, and had a wonderful experience. We arrived early (9/10 am), and we were immediately checked in and given our room early. Breakfast was included for platinum Marriott members, and they even let us in the day of our check-in, which was much appreciated after the long trip. Breakfast was a buffet-style selection, and we never ran out of options. Similarly, we had dinner in the hotel restaurant, the Gastro Corner, several times and were pleasantly surprised by every dish. We tried the paella, burger, fish of the day, octopus, several tapas, and tiramisu, and all were wonderful. The plating was beautiful and every dish was excellent. Most of all, the staff were very pleasant and made our dining experience extremely enjoyable. The room was a very standard, clean hotel room, while the location was perfect. The hotel is connected to a Rambla that is much lest touristy than the main, well-known Rambla, but has just as many good food selections. We went to several stores on that street, and enjoyed some wonderful Empanadas and Argentinian steaks. It was a short metro ride away from practically every tourist destination, and a quick walk from the beach. Overall, a 10/10 stay!

In Four Points I was completely pleased above my expectations. Your team/staff always was friendly even warm and heartly. Before leaving and after my mountain bike tour (and after I explicitly have checked out in the morning) at 14:00 Valentin as duty manager and his team actively with some effort/calls enabled me to use the shower and fresh myself, which my neighbours in the airplane definitively will appreciate. This is far above average ! Thank you @Valentin & team. When I´ll be back anytime in our office Fourpoints will be my 1st choice.

The hotel is located in a spot very close to all the attractions of Barcelona but also in a quiet neighborhood. It is relatively new with a modern aesthetic throughout and very clean. The room we booked was large and corner and had several amenities (iron, hair dryer, etc.). The bed is big and comfortable. One of the negatives we faced was the non-change of towels, which for the category and price of the hotel is unacceptable. Of course, when we left on the fourth day, the person in charge told us that they change them every day. The breakfast was good with several choices but some food was average in taste, but the quality was good. The drinks at the bar were very good. The staff were all very professional, helpful and pleasant. This particular choice of hotel contributed a lot to making it one of our most beautiful trips.

Thank you for a very warm welcome from the hotel reception staff (especially Juan Manual and Pau) who made me feel special and paid extra attention to making my first trip to Barcelona the most enjoyable. I felt safe and part of a family. The hotel is a great attribute to visit Barcelona. I had a very comfortable and clean room. It is in a quieter area (Poblenou), and an easy and enjoyable walk on the Rambla de Poblenou to the beautiful beach and ocean. The restaurant and bar staff are exceptionally nice and make the best Sangria de Cava. Breakfast is very nice and plentiful. For people with special eating needs, there is a full array of choices that are lactose, gluten free. This hotel provides the services for buying attractions and excursions. The tram and the metro are very near and within walking distance for anyone willing to walk a bit on flat ground. Always be aware of pick pockets and don’t make it obvious that you are a tourist. Be nice, and try to talk a bit of Spanish and Catalan. It makes it more intimate and unique. This hotel offers the private transfer to the airport for a fee that is well worth it. And lastly, beware of your environmental footprint. Mind the city and the fact that Barcelona, and overall south of Spain is suffering a longlasting drought.

Wonderful location. A fun mall nearby with tapas, shopping and IKEA! Also about .9. Miles walk down a lovely street. To the Beach. Hotel staff were absolutely accommodating, kind, and gracious. We got the included breakfast and it was wonderful with great coffee, meats, yogurts, breads, fruits and hot dishes that changed every day. The best chocolate cake I have ever had in my life was on this buffet. The room we got was a little larger with a bar top area, and a Murphy bed. Room could have used a chair for reclining and lounging just to make the experience better, We asked for a chair and one was brought up quickly. The bed and pillows were comfy. The shower was not very wide but had nice shower heads and good pressure. Gym was ok, and adequate for our needs. We did so much walking during the day that it didn’t matter much. Would absolutely stay here again my next visit to Barcelona.
