No, but I would not be surprised if that were happening. This is a very old building with lots of history. But it has been beautifully restored, and is one of the most elegant hotels we have stayed in. The service is beyond wonderful, from the bellman to the desk staff to the servers at the rooftop terrace. Best location on the edge of the Gothic Quarter with lovely water views. Highly recommend this hotel.
