For the price this is a good hotel. If you don't mind climbing a few stairs, a walk or a ride on the subway it's a great hotel! Very handy to Las Ramblas. Try to get a room with a street facing window. This is a good budget option for Barcelona. I would stay here again.

Been here for the first time. Excelent location, 10 minutes walk to La Rambla. And 2 min away from a metro stationn. The rooms are clean, with everything you could want. Good for budget holiday. I will come here again for the next time in Barcelona.

The hotel room was clean and spacious, with towels and basic toiletries, the location was great, everything you need for a few days stay in Barcelona. The walls are a bit thin, but you can't do anything about that. Considering the price and location, it's great if you're on a budget. Markets, small tapas bars and cafes very close, La...

Hotel is good, clean and quiet. In a really good location close to Las Ramblas, underground stations, restaurants, 10 minute walk to the beach. Although what makes this place get a 4* from myself is the one lady that was working there with brown curly hair. I'm not sure if she still does, but she was so helpful. Helped us...

Very good for the price. Close to LaRambla, walking distance to the port, very close to underground station. We didn't get breakfast option because it wasn't good enough for us but you can find plenty of little shops (fresh bread every day) or bars on the same street. Hotel is clean and quiet, a bit dated but acceptable. We got...

The hotel is in a great location, you can reach the center, the beach or plaza Espanya by feet or metro in a really short time. The hotel is clean and for its price it is satisfactory. Maybe the bed in double room is a little bit small, if you don't want to hug with your partner ;)

Not in the city center which is definitely a PRO for such a noisy city. The hotel is on a small quiet street. 5 min walk to the subway station, 20 min to the Rambla Street, also 20 min to the old port. We had a good room with 2 beds and our own bathroom, it was always clean, the...

Staying in Montjuic

Neighbourhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
