This hotel was quite a find - it is very central and located in the lively Born district. Very good value for what you get. The hotel itself quite small but the rooms are clean and functional - the whole place has a "boutique" feel...More
We stayed at Banys Orientals for 2 nights, we were allocated a room at the back of the building. It was fairly small, but had everything needed, including free safety box, flat screen tv, comfortable bed, good shower and bathroom. It is in a good...More

Thank you very much for your review. We are very glad that you have a good time in our hotel and Barcelona
I stayed at the Banys Orientals w/ my wife and young children (ages btw 2 - 6) in August. We stayed in one of the Annex Suites in a building right next to the hotel. It was a very large room w/ two double beds...More
Due to terrible itch we woke up in the middle of the night to find a horrific scene: the bed and us covered with bed bugs running like crazy, the sheets spotted with dozens of blood spots from the blood-sucking bugs and our bodies covered...More
This is a 3-star hotel that is just beautiful and located close to everything! I would definitely stay here again, and definitely recommend to others. I'm glad I booked in advance because once I arrived and checked-in, I found that they were completely booked.

The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants
ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.

I do not know if there is parking affiliated with the hotel but it is in a small pedestrian friendly neighborhood. I do not recall seeing any parking garages. I do not see any benefit to having a car in the city. The public transportation is so cheap and easy. We rented a car for day trips to Figueres and cadaques. We picked it up at the train station. There is ample parking at the train station and it was an easy transfer from the stop near our hotel

Breakfast is provided at the hotel. You won't be stuck for great places to eat nearby. Adjoining the hotel is a great restaurant called Senor Parallada. The paella is renowned. Go into the winding side streets for excellent tapas spots. El Xampanyet is an amazing, lively and authentic bar with great tapas. Just around the corner from the hotel. It's v cramped, but that's part of its appeal. There are some lovely restaurants in Barceloneta/overlooking the beach and Can Culleretes is well worth it (second oldest restaurant in Spain). It's an easy walk from the hotel. I avoid the rash of Galician restaurants that've sprung up as they're not authentic Catalan and can be over priced. These are the ones serving what look like tapas on bits of bread. Just a personal choice. Enjoy!
