A nice hotel. Location great pretty close to Plaza de Catalunya at the beginning of the Rambla. Have a nice rest at cafe Zurich.
A nice big room - we had a superior room - go for that. Good cleaning. A quality breakfast like in many places in Spain. Nice friendly service. A great top roof pool and sun place with lounge music. Go there. We are considering going there again.

The hotel is a real gem!
Despite the travel restrictions we went to Barcelona and found this beautiful hotel situated right in the centre of Barcelona. From there easy access to all the attractions, museums and the beach, as well as from and to the airport.
The rooftop terrace with swimming pool and lounge area and great view over Barcelona is absolutely stunning.
Silvia, the wonderful hotel manager, always with a smile making us feel very welcome, as well as the whole staff were very friendly and helpful, always there and ready to fulfil our needs and making sure you have a wonderful stay.
We definitely will be back! Thank you all!

PS According to COVID guidelines the rooms and all aereas in the hotel were constantly disinfected, social distancing keep and masks worn at all times.

We chose this hotel after scrolling through the Internet and were delighted with it! It is a modern building. Room was spacious, bed comfortable and sheets and towels changed daily. The bathroom was large, the shower over the bath worked very well, much more so than many we have previously used. Breakfast was very good with a wide range of choice and free to eat as much as you want. Tea, coffee and milk were supplied in the room. There were two computers available, which was great for completing our Passenger Locator Form before returning to UK and Reception were more than happy to print the forms for us. Throughout, the staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel is in a great central location just a few minutes walk from Catalunya square where the airport bus arrives. This is also the starting point for Las Ramblas and the terminus for Barcelona tour buses. There are lots of interesting places within walking distance and a plethora of very good bars and restaurants.
All in all a great place to stay, highly recommended. We would definitely use this hotel again! Stayed here 13 to 19 November 2021.

We have just returned from a few days in Barcelona and we stayed at Hotel Jazz.

The Hotel was in a great location, very central, La Ramblas was just around the corner, just across the road was the Gothic Quarter, so easy to walk out to all of the shops, cafes, restaurants, Taxis/Buses/Metro all close by too.

All of the staff at Hotel Jazz were so friendly and welcoming, very informative about your stay.

We stayed in a Family room, there was 2 adults and a 10 year old child, the room was spotless, cleaned daily, beds made daily and fresh towels. Very spacious and comfy. There was a kettle with Tea/Coffee/Milk available in the room for your morning drink. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but was advised that if you did want to take up the option of breakfast then feel free to just turn up on the day order and pay.

The Terrace at the top of the hotel with the pool was such a lovely area, a Bar up there too with Drink/Food options.

I would definitely stay at the Hotel Jazz again on a return back to Barcelona without a doubt.

Thank you Hotel Jazz for having us.

I spent two nights at Jazz Hotel with my girlfriend and it was perfect. The room is well equipped and spacious and the staf is realy warm, welcoming and professional. We actually had a nice chat with Silvya, the director, who offered us with a glass of "cava", typical from Catalunya, and told us some "must do" from Barcelona. The location is also the best, 5 to 15 mins walking to the main city attractions and well connected by buses and metros. The breakfast was in great proportion and delicious. We were served by Johana and Gustavo, who made us feel at home, always helpful and smiling! Thanks for everything. We will come back next time!

This is the fifth year in a row we have stayed in this hotel , we have been visiting Barcelona in February for the last ten years as part of my birthday celebrations. The hotel is ideal for seeing the sights of Barcelona on foot I prefer this personal as you get to see all The nooks an crannies of Barcelona we love to get out an about down the little streets an see all the places that aren’t touristy. There are so many great little cafes that all the locals go to that don’t charge a fortune an you get the real feel of Barcelona. The jazz hotel is clean an friendly An like I said in a great spot central for what ever you want to see an do while you are there , we r most defiantly looking forward to returning next year thanks jazz for making my birthday so special x sending love to you all

We got to Barcelona on the January 2nd and left earlier today, on the 7th. We stayed at Hotel Jazz at Calle Pelai, just walking distance to Plaza Catalunya and La Rambla

I totally loved Hotel Jazz, its location is perfect near all the main attractions in Barcelona, specially all the places to eat, to shop and to go around, but what most we loved about the hotel was the super friendly staff.

I want to recognize specially Michelle, in reception (front desk), She was super nice and helpful. She helped setting our dinner reservations and was very assertive. Always with a big smile. Thanks for all your recommendations.
I also wants to thank Nico, our favorite bartender. Excellent service and very nice to talk to. I loved all the drinks he fixed and the snacks he cooked for us.
I want to thanks Alex, the one who was working at the Front desk during our last night. Our safety box did not open with our important documents inside of it. Alex was very diligent and did not give up until he solved our problem. We had an early flight this morning. Thanks again Alex.

We want to thank the Argentinean girls at the breakfast buffet.
The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious. I loved it.
I want to thank the rest of the staff at Front desk. And last, but not the least, the cleaning service staff. We were very pleased with the neatness and cleanliness of the rooms and and around the hotel.

I definitely recommend Hotel Jazz for your stay at Barcelona. I hope to book there again during a future visit to Barcelona

I read reviews of this hotel before I booked it for three nights in Barcelona. Most everyone made favorable comments, but I must add that this is a unique and well located hotel. Steps from really good restaurants, major transportation and the Ramblas. Take advantage of their roof-top deck for a cocktail and a view of this magnificent city. Pay a few extra Euros and your breakfast will feature fresh fruit, eggs, decadent pastries and good hot European coffee. Spotless rooms, in a modern design which is a nice contrast to all the ornate structures that abound in this city.

5 stars and well deserved! There were 6 of us in total with 2 family suites. The facilities were perfect with kettle and fridge in the room so easy to make baby bottles up. The housekeeping was so friendly and flexible as they understood it’s just not easy getting out the door with small kids!
All staff were friendly especially the kitchen staff at breakfast and they even made a little rattle for the baby whilst waiting for his food.
The room was always clean and there was plenty of space for our large group. The pool was excellent. The kids had hours of fun and what a view of the city. Nice relaxing area with comfy chairs for us adults with a bar to enjoy as well as nighttime.
We will certainly return and we would highly recommend. Perfect location at the top of the Ramblas with the beach about 30 minutes walk if you fancied it. Supermarket 3 minutes away and metro was 5 minutes. Thank you Hotel Jazz!

I've stayed here many times and love the big rooms, it's a bit of a design hotel originally and there is a decent sized if shallow pool, which is not common in the chicer hotels. Unfortunately Jazz added family suites and God bless the children, but I used to love the peace at this wonderful rooftop pool and now it's very noisy with the kids playing, God bless them. But not a good match for me. Nice big rooms with views and lots of light, good sized desk for working.

Are pool towels provided by the hotel?
Answer from Jules_jellyhead
Liverpool9 contributions13 helpful votes
Hi, I went in June and there was a pool towel for each person in the room. If memory serves me right I think there was a sign saying only 1 towel would be provided per stay so just make sure you bring back from the pool, that being said we did receive another set whilst there. They are orange in colour to distinguish from Bath towels and where in the wardrobe when we arrived Hope that helps.

Hi. There is a secure storage room by reception for your luggage. There are showers in the ladies and gents toilets on the roof terrace but the toilets are for use by everyone up there so don't expect the area to yourself. For a quick freshen up they are ideal. Hope this helps
