Would say it's not a 4 star hotel. Air con blew out hot air.. Shower door opened so you could only get a small person in and out. Luckily we are small people. Breakfast was cold. But the position is ideal.

This hotel is right in the center in a great location. But the service wasn't wonderful and the air conditioning in our room didn't work. Then the second night we changed to a different room but the tub was dirty. Also, both nights there was no soap in the bathrooms and the pillows were as hard as rocks. Finally, the...

Fantastic location, 5min walk to main attractions, small but nice clean basic rooms only negative is the lifts, very unreliable, use the stairs! I would definitely recommend this hotel. I had a brilliant birthday weekend!

The location was excellent. 2 minutes away from city centre. Hotel did not seem like a 4 star. Poor service. The main light in the room was not flickering and not working. The staff did not bother to get it fixed in 3 days, after me telling them twice. The room was ok. The hotel mentions free wifi in all...

The location of the hotel is excellent, walking distance to great restaurants and shopping streets. The rating might be excessive at 4 star, no tea coffee making in the room & no facilities in the reception area. The staff were very friendly & helpful, the rooms are clean & tidy. We left our luggage in reception on the day of...

Small but clean room, not suitable for wheelchair users. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very limited, but sandwiches and yogurts were good. Location was on a side street, so no loud music in the evening. Close to both hop on hop off lines.

Hotel overall was good, clean rooms, good and helpful service but smell on the corridor was horrible. One morning we've woken up and that smell was even in our room. Our room was small but we didn't care about it as we wanted just good night sleep. Breakfast was ok, no smell in dining room. I will recommend this hotel...

Firstly, I'd like to say that the location of the hotel is fantastic, only a five minute walk from Plaza Cataluña and near most important places in Barcelona. But that was probably the only good thing about our stay. The room was extremely small and it looked out onto a patio not a street. It was ridiculously hot in the...

Very nice hotel, just few streets from plaza cataluña and 1 cross road from paseo de gracias. The hotel is very clean, without noise and with a reach breakfast. My room was spacious and the wifi connection great.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
