The hotel has a perfect location to explore the city but to be honest, when it comes to the flair and the interior, this hotel could be everywhere in the world. The connection to the musician part of the property only refers to the multi sound system in the hotel room, nothing special and rather unspectacular. We got a room...

Such a great hotel. All staff very friendly and polite. Very helpful aswell. Had some laughs with the guys. Breakfast was lovely. Rooms are beautiful, as was the hotel. After being there two days we managed to find the hotel without assistance. Alleyways around the hotel all look the same but we worked it out.

The Musik Boutique Hotel in the gothic area of Barcelona is a real gem. The hotel is a little hard to access by car, so taxi or walking in via taxi drop off is advised. Once you are inside, be prepared for a real great experience. The Staff are welcoming, the rooms are well designed, and the area is great...

I am also 'one of the 6' ladies from the previous review and can only agree 100% with Highleghlady. Not only did the the Musik Hotel and staff meet all our needs it was an ideal location for doing the cultural and fun side of Barcelona plus great Breakfasts for only 10 Euros. My only request was for a couple...

The Musik Hotel was recommended to us by other friends and we were certainly not disappointed. Greeted by Ennio, we 6 ladies were shown to our courtyard facing bedrooms (recommend by others who wanted a quiet stay) and we were all impressed with both room and large bathrooms. Ennio, Daniel and Gonzales looked after us very well, answering all queries...

We enjoyed our four nights at the Musik Hotel. It is in El Born/La Ribera area and was very centrally located for all we wanted to do and see. It's on a narrow street and can be somewhat intimidating when first approaching the hotel. But rest assured it's great hotel in a great location. Very modern, very clean. Service was...

3 night city break with my boyfriend... so happy with our choice of hotel. great location to everything, especially Las Ramblas, gothic area etc (we didn't get in a taxi once). The hotel stands out as being fresh, modern and quite luxury considering the reasonable price. Staff are welcoming and attentive, we received a bottle of cava in the room...

This hotel is in a great, central location near the Cathedral. The room was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is during our stay there was construction going on next door (e.g. on the other side of the wall) that started early each morning, so it was very noisy during the day. Other than...

This hotel is situated on a narrow, alley like, street. Tucked away just a few blocks from very bustling parts of the city, in the old town area. it is conveniently located within reasonable walking distance, ...a few blocks from Palau De La Musica Catalana... and a 5 to 20 minutes walk to many tourist sites, like the Las Ramblas...

If you are looking for a small, cozy hotel, in a great and central location, good price and friendly stuff- this is the place for you! Although the double room was a bit small... it was clean, quiet and with lots of privacy. The double bed was very comfortable and had good quality visco pillows. most important- the room offered...

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
