My mother and I travelled to Barcelona between 21-25 November, and stayed 4 nights at the Primavera Hostel. We were very satisfied with everything - friendly, youthful staff, clean place, very cozy, and friendly. I want to especially thank Pam, who welcomed us and helped us with a map of the city (they give one for free), and explained things... More

The hostel is so beautiful, clean and there's a really laidback vibe. It is in a great location, with plenty of restaurants close by and the metro is 5 minutes away. It's also very close to Casa Battlo and Casa Milo; you pass both on a walk to the main square. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly - probably... More

I had a preconceived image of what a hostel would be like but have never stayed in one before and I was very wrong! We arrived late on a Thursday evening for a weekend away with the girls, we were welcomed into reception and had a quick tour of the facilities and taken to our room which was a good... More

I stayed there for 2 nights, and actually i wanted to stay more but there were not any free rooms. People are very nice, always willing to help and the living room is very cozy wither you want to sit with your lap top or you want to meet other people. This hostel is more like a big house but in... This hostel has the perfect location, facilities, accommodation, information and its right next to Sagrada familia. The staff are just amazing. The cleanest hostel i have ever been to. I really can't explain why there is such a warm and cosy feel but it's incredible here. Even if you didn't enjoy Barcelona, this hostel in itself would make an incredible... More

We spent three nights at the hostel. It is a basic hostel with all the essentials. The rooms and facilities are kept very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great if you're looking for a social hostel - there's a comfortable common area with laptops and good wifi throughout the building. A tasty, simple free dinner was provided one of... More

What's good about the place?? Everything. Good location - it's in close proximity to a couple of metro lines. Also walking distance from some major commercial centres and touristy places. Staff was really helpful. Evy actually helped me plan a quick day-trip to some of the more touristy places. I used the remaining days of my stay to visit the... More

Stayed at this quaint little hipster hostel with our whole family. Easy access to everywhere and very helpful, down to earth staff. Very neat and clean with easy free access to wifi (and computers if you don't have one with you). Would stay there again.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
