We prepaid before arrival through a booking site and were not given the access codes to the property until we went to their offices to pay the city tax (about 5 Euros). This was a bit rediculous as the offices are in another part of town. They should allow you to pay the city tax at the property. We did... More

Casa Bella Gracia is a super cute, very small hotel located in the trendy Gracia neighbourhood. Gracia is north of the touristy La Rambla and Gothic district so it's a bit of a hike. Regardless, the Green Line Subway is a 5 min walk or you could walk to La Rambla in 30 min. Sagrada Familla is also a 25... More

We arrived yesterday and have tried to contact staff regarding a change due noise. No luck so far, no sleep either. Clean but extremely noisy. All basic stuff is okay but noise makes this room simply unbearable.

I only stayed one night in this hotel, but it was great! I was a little apprehensive about booking a place without reception, but it was all pretty easy as you are sent your own codes to open the outer door and room door. I would suggest that maybe an option for codes to be sent by text as well... More

A great little well presented room in a brilliant location just on the edge of Grácia. Very close to the train station, shops and some fantastic little restaurants such as La Pepita which is all of 30 seconds walk at the end of the street! The room itself is small but very clean and tidy with a decent television and... More

Gracia is a nice neighbourhood to stay! Lots of squares and even more nice tapas bars. The hotel does not have a reception. You get a code to get into the front door and your room. Good system which seems pretty safe. The rooftop terrace was also very nice. Especially on hot does I can imagine that it is nice... More

We stayed here for the weekend and was very impressed. Very close to the Diagonal metro station and bus stop just along the Main Street. Supermarket is just up the street 2 minute walk. We had the superior room for a family of 5 and had enough space and enjoyed our stay here. We loved the idea of the locker... More

The Hotel is perfectly located. At 10min of anything by metro and 20-30min on foot. Between the Guell Park and the Sagrada familia (20min walking distance). 2meters from a small supermarket and cute restaurants. The rooms are perfectly clean and well decorated. Although we had small windows it was not a big issue for us. The terrace is big and... More

Just back from second visit to CBG this year. On this visit our 3 sons 22, 18 and 16 came with us. Had a room for 6 which was big enough. Very helpful staff. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Easy access to metro if needed. Visit Carrer Verdi for interesting shops. Love Barcelona.

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
