Great location, beautiful and clean room. Excellent service! No breakfest at hostel, but very nice taverna across the street. Lots of great dinner places nearby also. I can highly recommend this hostel for budget travellers!

I arrived late due to a late flight but called ahead to warn them. This is not a 24-hour hotel after all. When I arrived, I was given a warm welcome and he gave me an orientation of Barcelona on a map, even at about 23:30! I know he had been working since the morning. The room was clean and... More

We arrived mid afternoon on Saturday having walked from the city bus stop so very easy to find and only a 10 minute walk. Walking into the foyer of the Hostaalin we wondered if we had made a huge mistake but we couldn't be more wrong, once inside the reception Marco (I think that is his name) welcomed us and... More

This was a great base to stay for our 4 night trip to the city. It's like a mix between a hostal and a hotel in a good way! It's within an old building that has other offices and apartments in so a little tricky to find at first but that didn't really matter, don't let the fact at night... More

This is a fantastic little hotel located in a great area. Very central and easy walking distance to most of the main attractions, including The Sagrada Familia. The rooms are basic but immaculately clean, and the hotel staff could not have been more helpful. I also had a lovely little balcony to watch the world go by. You wont find... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights before our cruise out of Barcelona. Rooms clean, simple, adequate for 2, with 2 bottles of water, shampoo, body wash and soap provided. Hotel is small, adequate, clean, tidy, and has small common room with vending machine and coffee available. Great central location with metro and buses, laundromat (Fresh Laundry Tetuan),... More

First thoughts when arriving were 'oh god what have we booked' as the hotel has no proper reception area and have to press a buzzer to be let in to go up some dingy stairs.. However this was completely made up for when we saw our beautiful 'superior room with gallery'. Rooms were very spacious, modern and spotless, had a... More

I had great 3nights with my mom in here. The host was very humorous and friendly. He cared us a lot. The room was clean enough, bed was big, they also had a valcony. They offered free water and new towel everyday. Location was also nice. Everything was good.

Clear and comfortable room even if small. Very clean. Balcony is a plus. Welcoming staff. Well situated: 10-15 min from Plaça de Catalunya and 2 min from metro Girona. There is no safe in the room and it would be apreciated. A second suitcase support would also be apreciated.

Barcelona is one of the stops of my summer traveling. The staffs are so helpful and nice. They even help to print out the map and directions for us. The view from the room is so beautiful. We spent most of our time in the balcony as it's absolutely stunning. It is also extremely close to the centre. We managed... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
