Stayed here while visiting from England. Having landed at the airport and with the use of a map the hostel wasn't hard to find. Greeted by such welcoming staff we instantly felt like we'd found a home for the next few days. The interior of the hostel was beautiful and cosy! Beds comfortable and clean. The showers were hot and...

The staff in this Hostel is what made my Barcelona experience amazing. They were so helpful, friendly and outgoing. Also the location was great! The beds i do have to say they were not "the best" but at least i could fit in them (I'm 5'11) Everyday there was something to do in the Hostel for those who did not...

Each traveller will have a list, sub-consciously or well established, of characteristics of a place that will determine their level of enjoyment. Of those, there are a few that I suspect are particularly pertinent to those who choose hostels to provide shelter. To meet like-minded individuals, to party, to chill, to obtain local tips, make a run at a fleeting...

This was one of my favourite hostels I've ever stayed in! It's in a really nice location, 10 minutes walking from La Rambla and just on Raval. The atmosphere was so friendly and homely and there were always activities happening which meant it was so easy to make friends. Rooms were always clean with lots of light and bathrooms were...

Pars Tailor's is truly one of a kind. The hostel is really central, located ~10 min walk from all the bars and clubs that La Rambla has to offer. Plus, the staff make an effort to get all the guests together every evening and bring them out. Perhaps the most striking thing about this place however is its theme. From...

The hostel is located in central Barcelona, close to Urgell Metro and walking distance to the Ramblas. Short distance to gay Barcelona. Hostel is generally clean. Staff are nice and every night they have a number of activities for the guests. Good if you seek a whole night adventure and good to meet new friends. If you want to stay...

I have stayed at this hostel twice this year for three nights in May and then recently for seven in July. I honestly can't advise this hostel more. I stayed here for four nights and it's the best hostel I've ever stayed at. The staff are lovely and always there to help if you need anything; they know the area well and will always point you in the right direction. The location is very central and walking distance to all the major attractions and the beach. The hostel...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
