The location is really great, taking a breakfast by the sea is really great. But the room are not that clean, it was really noisy because the partition dorms will not go to the top. 3 bedrooms therefore communicate with each other so expect light and noise during your night. Nevertheless, the price is cheap and the staff very helpfull...

Awful hostel!!! Small and nasty rooms that look like a jail. They put people as sardines, No A/C, crowded and the rooms are interconnected, so you are awake all night from other rooms noises. I got robbed, and many other people. Every day you heard people getting robbed at the hostel or out in the beach. The rooms are dirty,...

I think this is the kind of hostel you just either hate or love. I've seen many lukewarm reviews on here, and in all fairness, it isn't the fancies hostel around. BUT. I ended up extending my stay there from a few days to a whole week! The staff there is AMAZING, and then especially morning shift Naza and night...

They give you one sheet for the whole bed so I had to use it for the mattress cause I didn't want to lay on the bare bed. It was also freezing. People constantly throw up and the service is horrible!!

Best hostel in Barcelona! I stayed at 4 different ones and this one had the best location with the beach literally outside. Not only good location but clean and friendly. It's walking distance to club

We arrived in Barcelona at 9pm local time and we got a pre-arranged transfer from Airport to Hostel. They dropped us off on the side of the street as the hostel is not reachable by taxi! After a 30 second walk from the street to the hostel reception, the guy on reception was lovley. We requested that we could all...

A fantastic location, right by the beach. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Room we were in a bit noisy in the middle of the night as partition between dorms is open at the top and some Brits came in talking very loudly. Ear plugs help! But overall, lovely vibe and perfect location.

Most awful experience I have ever had. False advertisement on the site - I would rather spend a night in a prison cell. The 'walls' between each dorm are not full walls - meaning people from the other rooms are able to climb over the wall into yours. This happened on occasion. Being a young girl I felt very uncomfortable....

The location of the room is perfect, next to a toristic beach and the night clubs. As regards the room it was clean and quite big but some of the beds are not in the best location of the room (for example the bed that on the top of the toilet). The pbreakfast was rich and delicious. Generally it was...

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighbourhood Profile
Barceloneta
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
