Very well located, friendly staff but they won't go out of the way for you, nice decoration, lovely breakfast included (especially for a hostel!). The dorms are just average, but the common areas are very interesting. Stayed for 3 nights. At the time, they charged extra EUR3 for blankets.

I was moved from Equity point see hostel to Equity point Centric hostel due to constructions. The builiding has a good location, good view and light. It is kept clean mostly and people at the reception are helpful and nice and also speak good english. The breakfast buffet is for sure something to try.

Stayed at the Hostel for two nights the hostel is centrally located to most architectural landmarks by famous architect Antonio Gaudi like Casa Batlo a minute away ,Casa Milla also close by and Sagrada Famillia within a walking distance ..but my main concern was having to pay extra to have internet access in your room with the free wifi only...

The hostel has no atmosphere. If you are a British tourist I wouldn't recommend booking here. Staff at front desk are lazy to say the least and don't keep basic things like phone chargers etc. If you do book, then book 14/16 dorm as the 8 man didn't even have a plug in the room

Right on the main passeig de gracia this hostel goes everything you need it to. It's clean and offers a variety of sized rooms. Accommodation in this city isn't cheap but this hostel is good value. If you want all your creature comforts you are unlikely to want to stay here. Small rooftop bar with views over the city.

Got what we wanted, bed, shower, roof and great location in the centre. When considering the location the value for money is AAA+. Hostel had strict rules but we only slept there one night and visited the roof for the view a couple of times. Perfect hostel for your average dirty backpacker life school eurotrip first trip away from the...

Room was clean and well maintained, staff was helpful and informative, and the location is central and makes it easy to get around main places in Barcelona. Good budget choice. I'd recommend paying a little more and staying in a dorm with less people as the difference is quite marked.

Location is great! Less than 2-min walking distance to Casa Batlló, very close to La Pedrera and La Ramblas street as well. Breakfast costs EUR2 which is quite good that offered bread, cereals, fruits, biscuits, blended coffee, juices etc. Wifi was stable but only accessible on 1st floor (reception area), 2nd floor (dining and resting area) and 7th floor (rooftop...

We stayed here for a week-end, and had a really good stay at the Equity point. It's really cheap, you can have a bed for 9e per night, plus 2e for a gooood breakfast (with different cereals, tea, coffee, different juices, fruits, toasts with butter or chocolate or marmelade, some cakes, etc) and the bathroom are surprisingly clean. The location...

I really enjoyed my stay here, plenty of space to go and chill out. The facilities where pretty good as well. The staff are great, friendly, happy and welling to help. The beds and the bathrooms are also pretty good. Only down side is that you are not able to open the windows in your room.

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

“I stayed in a 14-bed room. It was quite ok, facing to the street with 2 glass doors. With balcony but doors were locked so it is not possible to go out but view from the room was nice. Room was not as squeezy as I have imagined. Lockers available in the room, will need to use own padlock. Each bed has own outlet which is a plus. No door for shower, is only a water-proof kind curtain to cover up- Hot water fucntioning well.”
