The Moods was the best hotel on our trip! It is on the main street, but away from the busy part. It is in an old building that has been wonderfully converted. The room was great and very comfortable. AND, the wifi worked! The staff were so sweet and helpful, I wish we could have stayed longer.

My wife and I stayed at the Moods for two nights and felt it was a wonderful hotel. We had a room with a terrace. It was a beautiful addition to already nice room. Each morning we had breakfast on the terrace and it felt so romantic. The location is just a short work to the Metro and the neighborhood...

Located on the quiet section of Ramblas with charming cafes lining the street and many of Barcelona's museums and historic districts just steps away the Hotel Moods is the perfect place to stay in Barcelona. The rooms are spacious, especially those with balconies, and the staff is just wonderful, helping with reservations, directions and little requests that made our stay...

Just a quick review: Polite staff, effortless check-in and they stored our luggage for a few hours after we checked out. Late check out costs €10, we took it! We stayed for three nights. The location couldn't be more perfect, in the middle of la rambla catalunya, so lots of restaurants and shopping options (Mango is next door, the luxury...

really beautiful small hotel. Our room had a private balcony where we could enjoy our breakfast outside, just perfect! Good beds and a clean room. The breakfast was basic but good. Wifi was perfect and also the tablet we could use was a nice gesture.

The room was comfortable, clean and has air conditioning which is a must during July, August and September. The location is well positioned and less than 10 mins walk to the Diagonal Metro(Blue Line 5) or a 25 minutes easy walk to Las Ramblas. The reception staff is amiable. For those who are wary about communication, they all speak fair...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
