I stayed 2 nights in Barcino 147, I loved this place! The owner has a very nice collection of arts in the bed and breakfast, that makes it a very elegant place. My room was not very big but it was very clean and quiet. I didn't have a private bathroom, but there was no any problem to use the...

I stayed 3 days in this B&B with my parents. It was our first time to try a B&B, this B&B is very clean, with classic decorations, near to every place of interest. We loved our experience here because it was just like stay at home, and it was possible for us to make friends from other places. All the...

I stayed at the Barcino for 5 nights in September/October. The Barcino has been beautifully renovated with original tiles and architectural features. If you want a charming B&B with tons of character, this is the place for you! The host (Ferran) really cares about his guests and puts emphasis on ensuring they are enjoying their stay. The location is very...

We fully enjoyed 2 nights in superb comfort in an excellent location just 2 short blocks from Paseig de Gracia. The en suite bedroom was beautifully furnished, stylish, spotless and quiet. We also enjoyed a generous continental breakfast, as well as helpful advice from Ferran. We are looking forward to staying in Barcino 147 again.

Great B&b perfectly situated right in the heart of Barcelona. Large bedroom with attached sitting room, spacious bathroom, wifi and TV.. We really enjoyed the company of Ferran, who is very knowledgeable of the area. Ruxy helped us book all our sightseeing tours and other travel arrangements. Barcino 147 deserves five stars. The hospitality, location, security, cleanliness, and comfort make this a great place to stay. The staff helped us avoid long lines at major sites by arranging for on line purchases of tickets. They provided laundry service for us, immediately took care of an air conditioning problem, and kept plenty of breakfast foods available when week...

The apt/suits are very artistic decorated, and they are about 2 mins away from each other, but both located at an excellent location with walking distances to many places in the center of Barcelona, such as catalunya (also is where the airport bus drop off/pick up place), and from catalunya, you can either take train or walk to many different...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
