The hotel is placed in the heart of the city, hence location is perfect to see most of the attractions on foot or catch the metro (5 min walk). The hotel needs a serious renovation, no doubt. The room that we had was big and...More
The hotel is near the foot of le Ramblas. It is quite basic but very clean and the staff are very helpful. The breakfast is a basic continental breakfast but there is plenty. Croissants, ham, cheese, cereals and fresh fruit. It could be a bit...More
Location wise this is ideal, right beside Plaza Reial. Room was booked (through Booking.com so got quite a handy deal) and ended up with a room overlooking La Rambla from 2 storeys up.

A verry basic hotel, but exccelent situated (right in the midlle of the Rambla, very close to the Placa Real).
Pretty clean, with small rooms and tiny bathrooms. The breakfast - verry, verry basic.
For sure, was my first and last visit to the Fornos.

Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-metre boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and
appetising selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
