Stayed in this hotel a second time as I am a travel agent and hosted a wine cruise departing out of Barcelona. It is on a corner,a 1 block walk to a plaza with all the public transportation to get you anywhere you need to go in this big and beautiful city. The rooms are very modern and sleek. There...

I made the mistake of booking this hotel, the room was too cold and tiny. I would have appreciated one double bed. I can hear every little noise coming from outside and bed was not comfortable to sleep on. I will NEVER stay here again. The only thing we liked was the location. As an overal this is a disappointing...

Dear costumer: First of all we want to apoligize for that bad experience that you had on our hotel. Your opinion is a gift for us. On one hand, regarding the double bed, we cannot assure all the requests. In the other hand, all the rooms are soundproof, but maybe the window of the room where you stayed had a...

The location of the Ayre Gran Via is brilliant, just a 10 minute stroll from the central train station where you can get a train to direct from the airport (Euro3.60) or almost directly on the roundabout where the airport bus drops you off. Not only are you at the end of the grand entrance to the National Museum/Olympic park,...

Great hotel! As soon as we arrived we were greeted by very friendly staff members. They were very helpful whenever we asked them for information. Our bedroom and bathroom were both very clean and spacious. Very comfortable bed. The hotel is located in a beautiful area. You've got a big shopping mall only about 3 minutes away, the taxi stops...

We arrived at the hotel, and was greeted with friendly smiles, this made me immediately think that the staff where trained well. Which they are. They all speak good english, and try their best to be friendly. The room was large, although no view to make a fuzz about. Sadly the minibar, the safe and the phone where faulty so...

A/C didn't work well, the rooms are tiny, the service is TERRIBLE, do yourself a favor and don't go there. We actually had the same bad experience in Madrid, same thing, bad and rude service, A/C didn't work and the rooms are tiny. The only thing we liked was the location.

Staying in Montjuic

Neighbourhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colourful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
