We really loved staying here. Everything is walkable and the beds were very comfortable. The staff at the hotel was also fantastic and we had a great view. Will definitely be staying here again when we're back in Barcelona.

We really enjoyed the stay!! Everything was perfect, and the stuff was very kind. It's also best located, near shops and the center. It is clean and modern an you have a coffee machine for free, and some teas. The wifi worked very well. The only thing, we didn't like was the noise of the cleaning lady... she started too...

Ideal for a budget, short city break. Pros - hotel and room was very clean and modern, ideally located for transport links, site seeing, bars and shopping, very comfortable bed, hair dryer, shampoo, shower gel and towels provided, lift to all levels. Cons - small rooms with minimal storage for clothes and toiletries - hence not particularly recommended for long...

We stayed at the Acta BCN 40 for three nights. It was during Mobile World Congress, so it was very hard to find an affordable hotel room in Barcelona that week. First the good: all of the staff were wonderful and friendly and gave helpful suggestions. The room was very clean, simply decorated, and the shower was nice and hot...

Clean room, very helpful staff. Noisy room. We woke up every morning at 7. nowhere to leave the soap or the towels in the bathroom. Very small room. The location is very good. Close to metro and many stores and bars.

Also with only 2 stars of hotel category, this it's a great hotel near Rambla Street and downtown of Barcelona. We had every comfort: wi-fi, air-conditioning and heating system, 5 minuts step to tube stop named Universitad L1 or Liceu L3. The breakfast was not included (option for 8€) but it's the new standard

This is a really good option for people looking to explore Barcelona for a few days. it is in a great location from which you can walk to most places, and the facilities are clean and appealing. Good location ,very nice reception personnel. They help me to receive one important letter and did not charge any fee. The room interior is simple but comfortable. The bathroom space is large .It is worth to choose BCN hotel ,when you stay in Barcelona .

First of all our room was very clean, nicely decorated and bigger than we expected. In addition, it was cleaned everyday and provided with new linen. Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
