Stayed in this hotel with my partner just before christmas for a weekend. The hotel is spotless, staff were really friendly and assisted us with al enquiries we had. We paid for breakfast before we went, which I would reccommend, as it is more expensive if you pay when you arrive. The hotel is fairly central, within walking distance of...

The hotel is very nice. The room was mint clean and the staff was very helpful. I have to agree with previous reviews regarding the safety of the street where the hotel is situated. A bit noisy, but mostly due to some construction works going in a nearby building. I'm not shore if this happened to any of you, but...

Enjoyed a 4 night stay with my partner. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Our room was nicely decorated, we were at the front of the hotel and had a balcony over looking the street. We were worried about how safe the area was after reading some reviews but found the street safe day and...

Me and my boyfriend stayed here in January for 5 nights, and it was a really nice little place! When we arrived, and the taxi took us down a little street I was a bit apprehensive, but once we got into the hotel my worries went straight away! It had a modern feel, and a lot of character in the...

This place completed my needs; economical, clean, comfy and close to the centre. When I first arrived I thought 'oh no!' About the location, the street seems a bit rough, but once I had stayed for a couple of days I realized that it's quite safe and has that great barcelonian style. I recommend this hotel

The hotel has many positive aspects: location, clean rooms, and the most important, very helpful and friendly staff. They were amazing. The relationship cost/benefit is quite fair when it comes to Barcelona, a city which charge us for everything. The only negative aspect is that there are some teenagers who spent most of their time, including at night skaterollng in...

Positive: -Close to Las Ramblas and the subway -Clean -Excellent and kind Staff Negative: -The quality/price ratio (a bit expensive for a 2-star hotel in a not so popular area) I would recommend this hotel although I believe it should be cheaper.

Actually we stayed there during our honeymoon, last week in October, and i must admit it was an excellent experience, the rooms are somehow small, on the first day we were given a room not overlooking the main road which wasn't quite pleasant and somehow small, then on the second day we were transferred to a new one with a...

I do not recommend this hotel, I am very disappointed. I wouldn`t book again, rooms are extremely small. I have booked and paid double standard room but we were obviously accommodated in other type of room on the ground floor. We asked to be relocated but were told that there were no other rooms available. After an argue and the...

Dear Guest, We greatly apologize that the room size didn't please you. However, the rooms are in keeping with the rules for 2 Star Hotel. Despite asking for a room change due to high occupancy of the hotel we were unable to offer a room change that day, but after we did it in order to get you more confortable...

Staying in El Raval

Neighbourhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
