We have just returned from 3 nights at this hotel it was in the ideal location for exploring this beautiful city. We booked this hotel through a website that classed it as a 4* and this just isn’t the case! It’s clean but basic the...More
We stayed there for 4 nights. The room was clean, but the walls were made of paper (in a matter of speech) and this was annoying. The breakfast was pretty good and tasteful. It had pretty much everything you desired. The price was a little...More
Staying at Sunotel Central for the first time. Lobby and lifts looking dated but the room on the 7th floor is really nice. Spacious, modern, clean, with a big shower and there is a nice balcony, too. Two sliding doors towards the balcony guarantee safety...More
Stayed in the hotel during a business/leisure trip. Although the rooms are on the small side the location was great and all the main sites of interest in the city are walking distance away.

Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.

Yes I believe so, not that we have had tapas for breakfast. The Central Market off Las Ramblas would be a good place to start.. Also, one place that we did use quite early was Cafe Dora and you may care to read my Review... More

on arrival we got off the bus at Catalunya and we had a bit of a walk to find our hotel . What I would suggest is that you get off the stop before at the University . Walk up the Carrer Muntaner until it meets Carrer Valencia . The hotel is just round the corner. Easiest way to get around the attractions is to get the metro at Hospital Clinic which is five minutes away . It is by far the best way to see everything . When you get on the aerobus you will be given a free map of the city which is really helpful to see where everything is . Hope you have a wonderful time 😊
