We spent 3 nights in Barcelona, fell in love with the city, and Ana was a part of it. She was very helpfull with the information, ticket prices etc. Breakfast was great, we changed 4 hotels while we were traveling and Ana's breakfast was the the best : with good assortment of baking goods, yogourts, cereals, juice. coffee. Regarding location...

This Guest House was so wonderful and we had such a delightful stay that I don't know where to start with the praise. Kudos to Ana and Natalie for this great place...!! The Guest house is in a large 'old world' apartment one flight up from the street. There is a very quaint old fashioned elevator as well as the...

If you are going to Barcelona, don't stay anywhere else! We found Ana's Guest House on Trip Advisor and we weren't disappointed. Ana and her daughter are lovely persons and always ready to help with directions or recommendations. We had a nice double room with private bathroom and we liked that it was really quiet and clean. The breakfast room...

I picked Ana's mainly because of the price. It was considered cheap since we stayed during the Mobile Congress when all the other hotels jacked up their prices. We stayed in Room 1 (interior room) which had window that faced a shaft (we never opened the window since it was the winter). We had our own bathroom, which was nice....

For my mothers first trip out of the country for her 60th birthday I took her to Spain. On a budget with my mom, Ana's Guest House was the perfect place to stay for us. Ana, the owner, was so helpful in daily itineraries and finding good places to eat; the location was within many walking distance to many destinations...

Great location (directly opposite a Metro stop) and welcoming hosts make up for a lukewarm shower! The small lounge area is nice - though I can foresee competition for it from the book-reading crowd - and the breakfasts truly sumptuous. On the downside, in addition to the shower issue the building has woeful noise insulation - light sleepers beware! We...

First I want to say many thanks to Ana, she had detailed information for all of Barcelona and the surrounding areas. Ana's is on the Avinguda Diagonal just across the street from the Verdaguer subway stop. My wife and I took the train from the airport to Ana's with two transfers and no issues. Ana knew where we needed to...

The warmth, the friendship, smiles, breakfast, tea and the help offered all make this a pleasurable stay. I was here for One month and it was worth it. You can reach...

I would like to thanks to Natalie for all hospitality, kindness, patient and time spend with me during the time I stayed at Ana's Guest House. It looks like I knew her before...I really felt like home. The house was always clean and the breakfast was great! Besides, the house is only 1 block from a metro station, 3-4 blocks...

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
