Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

Great, spacious rooms in a very centrally located hotel close to downtown. Windows are well preventing the sound of the streets. Walking distance to great restaurants in Gracia, L‘Eixample and more to see.

Dear Ms Alessa S, First of all, thank you for choosing Hotel Well&Come for your visit to Barcelona and taking the time to write this nice review! We are delighted that you were comfortable at your room and found it clean and well equipped, with free minibar and coffee machine nespresso and great soundproof sistem on the windows facing the street. Regarding the hotel location, indeed, the hotel is very well located, pretty much on the city centre, next to the main monuments, such as Sagrada Familia and with the metro station just on the corner. Once again, thank you for your nice review and we look forward to have you back next time you visit Barcelona! Best regards,

The hotel is small but very cozy with well equipped rooms and good general standards. The roof top terrace was very nice in the afternoon. The staff was friendly and helped us with what we needed. All in all a very good experience. The only disappointment was the breakfast

The staff at the hotel are knowledgeable about good local restaurants and can make recommendations. They recommended Galu to us and we ate there three times in our ten day stay. Staff will provide maps and transport advice also. As for sightseeing, I would definitely recommend Casa Batllo and Sagrada Familia but advise purchasing tickets in advance as it is cheaper and you will not have to queue. Buy a ten ticket for the Metro as it is cheaper and saves time. I can't advise on the tennis courts, sorry. Enjoy your stay!

To get to downtown is better off using the subway. The station is based 1 min walk from the hotel. It's nice to walk but it's a bit far for the parents. Coffees are all around the hotel - read my review for more info. There is no good restaurant around in terms of tasty kitchen, otherwise there are 4-5 regular ones, fast and frozen food like. The hotel itself is modern and charming - you'll like it.
