Tina, my wife and I have been going to the Historic for years. Rooms are great, price is reasonable and able to store bikes conveniently on ground floor in safe location. Xavi and his wife, Alba are wonderful. I go back year after year just to see them. I love the location in the old part of the city close...

This was our first night's hotel to begin a two week bike tour of Catalonia, Spain. The hotel is right in the center of Old Town Girona, with easy access to this historic city. What a charming, old hotel. Wonderful, artistic touches throughout. Each room we saw was unique and comfortable. And although it is in a very old building,...

Absolutely perfect. We stayed in a room that overlooked the city (the suite Àngels, ). The price for what you get was great. Staff was helpful, location was perfect, the room may be my favorite of all places we've ever stayed, (the pictures do not do the rooms justice). Next to the cathedral and art museum (mind the bell does...

This hotel was one of our favorites on our biking tour in Catalonia -Costa Brava. Gerona is a city worth visiting-fascinating history. The owners have done a fantastic job of renovating a building with remnants of Roman stone walls. I would recommend staying here.

The Hotel Historic is right in the old part of Gerona. Walking to nearby restaurants, etc. is a wonderful experience. We selected their largest room/suite. It was very spacious. The rooms are not extraordinarily plush, but they are adequate and comfortable. This hotel is all about the location. There is absolutely NO parking--the streets are very narrow. We took the...

Could not say how pleased we were to have a beautiful location perched atop the city in Girona adjacent to the Call and cathedral. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment with living room, seated kitchen area and great size private bath for less than a cramped small hotel room anywhere else in Girona. To be fair, may be difficult...

We loved the beauty of this historic building as well as the location. Although a bit difficult to get to, once there, the owners were helpful in procuring parking (a hot commodity) and friendly. The room was beautiful and comfortable with a lovely terrace to relax with a view. I highly recommend this hotel.

A small family run newly renovated hotel in the old town of Girona. Very well updated building and rooms. Breakfast readily served by the host who cooked eggs as we desired and served a delicous Iberian ham and cheese. It is still under renovation and and works going on in daytime. Quiet at night with very god beds.

Our apartment a bit worn, clean and pleasant. Second bedroom no box spring hard to sleep on for adult, thin pillow, shower leaked a little, bath room amenities light-towels 2 little shower gel/shampoos, 2 sponges. The public areas inside are lovely, some needed interior renovation ongoing for past couple of years. Staff not as friendly as I've seen, but cordial...
