We spent only one night here basically because travelling with a Labrador dog is not easy in Spain and Sansi let us take our dog in the room. However, the disadvantages were more: - the car park was dilapidated and there was not much space to maneuver. It was 9.50€ per night. - since we travelled with our dog, we had to access our room directly from the underground car park so other guests in the hall didn't get bothered. Our dog's stay cost 15€. - the rooms and corridors had nothing to do with the photos in their website. It is an old hotel which has been repainted and decorated with slight modern touches but in reality, its bathroom and walls look from the 70s. - our room had a window looking at something like a small inner courtyard, which was full of rubbish and as another guest has already written, we didn't find rats because we rolled down the blinds as soon as we rolled them up but it wouldn't come as surprise if there were creatures living there. - the receptionist at night wasn't wearing his mask in the hall. + the room and bathroom looked clean. + there was a television + it was quiet + it is close to the castle. We only spent one night there because it was just a stopover but since you have to enter the city centre and you need a car park I would recommend staying in another place if you only need the hotel to sleep (which is the only thing you can do in that room because you don't feel like staying longer). It is not romantic or a place to work or relax due to the poor lighting and the area is not specially appealing.

This hotel is the worst nightmare ever. Dirty, rude and unpleasant staff. In one of the meeting rooms we found a huge rat on the balcony. Down at the hotel parking is plenty of old and furniture . The corridors are usual full of chairs, matress and even sofas. My apartment room wasnt cleaned in the month i was there. Manager there is a unpolite, rude woman that doesnt give a sh...for her guests. This place should be lock down forever for the good of every guest health!!!

the other stuffs so and so.. I can say that it was clean, parking places in garage were small..The main problem was when they start to strike with a hammer and drill early in the morning... But all people who work there were very nice, for 5*.

My bank account shows a deduction from Galantet. Today (27 June 2019), an amount of R1311.20 and R36.06 was deducted from my account after I had reversed the very same transaction on the 26 June 2019 and written an e-mail to booking.com complaining of unwarranted deduction. I have now attached proof of booking which was done on the 10th of June 2019. The Confirmation number: 2325482647 and PIN code: 8666 was the reference I got when I made a booking. It states clearly that I am entitled to free cancellation up until 04 July and shall be charged 80 Euros from 5 July 2019 if there is no cancellation. My cancellation was made on the 20th June 2019 and stated clearly that it was a free cancellation which comes with no charges. Could you please attend to my complain and make sure that the deducted money is back in my account otherwise I will lodge a complain and reverse it with my bank.

What a pleasant surprise to find a moderately-priced, modern hotel with parking in a city centre. The staff is very helpful and professional, the location is good and the best chocolate and churros in the city are around the corner!
