Arriving at the Hotel I could hardly believe the it wasn't a 4 or 5 star hotel. The Lobby and pool look very fancy. The breakfast is very nice. Only the room was lacking a bit of maintenance. However I would always recommend the Hotel since it is also quiet and not too far from the historic city center.

Hotel very clean and comfortable but restaurant empty and offering only a basic quick-and-easy menu. Bar served good G&Ts while waiting for some sign of the restaurant opening but it didnt seem to happen. Eventually hunger drove us into town where we ate well at a pizza restaurant in the square. The evening was marred by constant noise and arguing... More

Overall facilities are fancy considering its fare. It would be better if I had a room on beach side but unfortunately I got the room next to road where bike noise is loud. Room is relatively small but the balcony is indeed big. I prefer vice versa. You have to pay for parking and go down hill for pay parking.... More

The room was very nice with balcony and view to the swimming pool and the garden. Clean and comfortable! The reception was professional and nice. Buffet breakfast was very good with severl things to eat. The hotel looks absolutely more than a 3 stars hotel standard in Spain!!! An advice to guests: why going in holiday if you complain for... We stayed one night. The rooms are okay, need some refurbishment soon, the lobby looks better than the interior. Anyway, they were clean, beds were comfortable, internet worked well. Also, no noise from the street, and walking distance for a beach and most of the Roman sites and the old town. Parking is possible, fairly priced, but as often in... More

I really liked this hotel, we stayed for two nights and it met all our needs. It is a 3 star but has a lovely swimming pool and bar area. Staff were good and rooms clean. It's a 10 minute walk into the centre and all the historic sights. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but found a little... More

My husband and I stayed one night at the Astari Hotel in September 2016. Overall we liked it. It was about a 15 minute walk to the start of the tourist section of the city, which was fine with us. There are hotels that are closer but we needed parking, which Astari offers for a small fee. The room was... More

We needed a place to stay outside Barcelona and this was about two hours drive. It wasn't that easy to find and there was no parking left inside the hotels parking, so we had to park on the road. The sea and restaurants were walking distance. We found a restaurant on a large terrance over looking the sea and roman... More

A few blocks from the old roman ruins a great hotel with friendly staff, parking, a beautiful pool with lots of lounging space to relax. Room and bath were spacious. Lots of nearby nice restaurants . We were there on sept 11 which is Catalonian Independence Day. Parades and crowds made the trip more interesting
