The Riazor Hotel is one of the better choices here in A CoruƱa, freshly renovated and top in many ways and at a premier location directly at the long curved Beach Promenade.
It has a new fresh and stylish look and very friendly and helpful staff. On the ground floor is the large reception and lounge area and the first floor has the breakfast room with some beach view tables.
The rooms, either face to the back, or the better ones are sea view facing. The rooms are of a comfortable size, nicely designed with wooden floors, nice colors and wallpapers. They offer all the needed amenities like a desk, some hanging and storage facilities, a safe and a mini bar, a 42ā€ Flatscreen TV as well as lots of power plugs and even multiple USB power outlets and a nice room lightning system. The bathrooms have a clean design with a bathtub / shower combination, a single sink vanity and toilet and bidet. On the top floor, there is a terrace with some sun chairs with great views out to the ocean.
In-house parking at ā‚¬ 15.- per day is available with in/out privilege.

This hotel was by far the best hotel we stayed in during our journey through Northern Spain. Hotel is modern, clean, beds super comfortable with great shower. Hotel is located across the street from the beach and is walking distance to the center. The only problem is we pre paid for a room with sea view (high floor requested) and when we arrived, the only sea view room with double bed was on the 1st floor. The hotel is located on a busy main street so 1st floor is noisy from traffic until about midnight. The reception staff that night (a man and woman) were super friendly and helpful to all guests- this is a true 4 star hotel.

Lovely hotel with views of the beach . Rooms clean and comfortable. Pleasant and efficient staff. Nice bar with lovely views too. Breakfast fine in these times of COVID, not the best but not the worst either. Being in the centre of the city they advised us which car park to use nearby with special rates for hotel guests. Pleasant stay,

We arrived late for a one night stay and our allocated room was a sea view room on the first floor. However, we immediately knew that we would be unable to sleep with the busy road directly beneath us.
Returning to reception, IrĆa quickly assigned us a different room and we were delighted to have been put on the top floor, a room with a wonderful view of the bay and a large balcony.
IrĆa was also extremely helpful advising us of free parking areas within the vicinity.
The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a lovely walk in shower.
Breakfast was more than adequate and we really enjoyed our stay here.

A mess. Private Reservation of room with sea view two months ago, bed and breakfast. The first room, which we rejected, on the first floor, inner courtyard, impossible to see anything without artificial light. When they say to change us, they tell us that the hotel is complete, how impossible. In the end we managed to get another room on floor 7, but it is still in narrow and dark inner courtyard. In the room, a 150 bed with a headboard for two beds. The safe is not anchored to any solid elements, you can put it in the suitcase and get out! The never seen! The leather headboard, broken with big scratches from some night of passion. The walk-in shower tray does not swallow, thus flooding the bathroom at the slightest carelessness. Nails cut into the floor next to the window. Poor breakfast. The automatic coffee machine without milk, they take out some cold containers of the Asturian and tell you to heat it in a microwave, see how we do it if it is full of guests at 9 in the morning. Meanwhile, the bar espresso machine is out of service until 11 a.m. (breakfast hours end at that time), and they donā€™t feel like giving us a sad latte.
And that's for the price of a 4*, which is 50ā‚¬ cheaper than when I paid it.

This hotel is nicely located across from the beach, the beach view was amazing and within walking distance to activities and restaurants/old town.

Hotel staff was friendly, warm and welcoming. They spoke English very well (thank you)

The room was very small and bare-bones. Pillow well used and bed small. No coffee pot or hot water for instant, and sparse in amenities. No where to put luggage. Breakfast was just OK. "Hot" items were not hot (eggs, etc). The bathroom was beautiful polished marble but extremely slippery even with a little moisture. The tub was also slippery and dangerous. There was a lot of noise from the grooming of the beach and picking up trash in the middle of the night.

Best value for price. The bedroom I was given may not have had a view to the sea but the design of the room, the deco, the amazing shower gel and just the functionality of it made it one of the best I have been to.
The restaurant serves simple yet good food, with a choice of vegetarian dishes and the breakfast buffet was very decent.
Nice staff at the reception, checking in and out.
Check the terrace on the top floor

The 4-star hotel to AVOID
The worst welcome we have ever had in all our experiences.
Incredible dishonesty
The advice = if you have to stay there, DO NOT leave a credit card imprint.
Decent stay (and decent bed comfort), but spoiled by the very unbearable atmosphere of malice and lack of attention to the customer
The icing on the cake = fees automatically taken from our bank account to the tune of 700 euros AFTER our departure without any authorization... etc.

Located infront to the beach , the rooms are quiet large but very basic and minimalistic . Pillow very small and uncomfortable. Room quiet noise since u can hear the people from the level up while walking. Good breakfast but when I asked for a cappuccino with soia mill and explained that the machine canā€™t make it, I have been told it was not possible . Staff in general not soo friendly . For the kind of service provided , for me is more a 3 star hotel.
