Detailed Reviews
Located at the southern end of the beach/west side, this hotel is one road back from the seafront. It’s a 10 mins walk to the central square but there is lots to explore more locally. My only small gripe was being charged in US dollars. However, they did let me park my 7 metre motor home right outside the hotel entrance, so I’m a satisfied client

Dear Customer, we love that you felt comfortable during your stay. Indeed we are very well connected, in the best center with multiple possibilities of public mobility and we also recommend you to enjoy the charms of our city simply by walking through its streets or in front of the sea. La Coruña is an accessible city that due to its unbeatable situation at sea level makes it ideal both for walking and outdoor exercise, running, cycling ... etc. Elisabeth Estevez --- Direction Zenit Coruña

We came to A Coruna to see the Torre de Hercules, before starting a 7 day hike on the Camino dos Faros (yes, we're lighthouse junkies). The Tower of Hercules lighthouse was awe inspiring - it's been there nearly two thousand years, and the interior is almost all original. And this hotel was perfect for us. A good location by the beach and waterfront. Easy walking to very nice restaurants - that locals use, not just tourists. We taxied to the Tower, and walked back on the beach promenade, about a half hour walk. The included breakfast was outstanding ... great selection, one of the best hotel breakfasts you'll ever get. They understand gluten-free if that matters to you. Our room was very nice. The staff was friendly, helpful, and kind in every way. This is a great choice in A Coruna.

Thank you very much for your comments and your magnificent rating. We are pleased to know that the central location of the hotel near the beaches, leisure areas and places of interest of the city, as well as the friendly and helpful treatment received from our service staff, the room and our complete and varied buffet of daily preparation and that includes a wide selection of gluten-free products that are to your total liking. We hope that the rest of your stay is as wonderful as the one you have enjoyed with us and we will be happy to welcome you again on any occasion, whether to complete an extensive route of mythical lighthouses that our coast has, ranging from the Tower of Hercules to Estaca de Bares (the northernmost of the Peninsula) or Finisterre (separated by the ocean from the American continent), or to continue getting to know this region of Spain rich in cultural, gastronomic, landscape experiences....

Not a 4* to international standards, maybe a 3, but overall ok hotel. Central location, a block away from the water. Very noisy though, partially because the narrow street amplifies all the drunks hanging around in the area and going at it all night... Decent wifi. About a 20 euro cab ride from the airport.

I had booked a room Doble Mini room and from the pictures you could see 2 velux windows and I was hoping to have a romantic time watching the stars even if the room was small.
Instead I was given a standard room, street view on the first floor and told the one I had seen on the website would only be available the next day.
In the shower there were two bottles of shampoo, one bottle of conditioner and none of shower gel.
I had a note saying that the water was complementary but not water bottle was anywhere to be found in the fridge.
TV: the Nextlix logo appeared but was told to use my own account.
Room service: not available during the w.e, unbelievable for a 4 stars.
The service was OK otherwise and room clean but definitely not what I expected and I stayed in better hotels around that area.

Dear Steve, I am sorry that all the explanations we offered did not help to change your impressions. The plug, as you explained to us, came loose when you pulled the cable of the coffee maker that we have as a courtesy in the rooms. We offered to change rooms so as not to bother you while they were repairing it, which you refused. We explained to you that for the model of bathroom sink that we have and to prevent water overflow, the drain plug prevents it from being lowered and water cannot accumulate in it, and regarding the spoons we explain that it has sugar packets that have a built-in shoulder to be able to stir the sugar. However, we have a 24-hour reception service that can offer you whatever you need, including some spoons. I am extremely sorry for your impressions, we are always willing to offer solutions and improve our clients' stay as much as possible, Sincerely. Elisabeth Estevez. Director .

The hotel is nice, well located, near the beach and the historic centre. Good installations, with modern rooms and good bathroom. We had the breakfast near the hotel, 100 metres. You have many options. Many restaurants to eat the famous tapas just around the corner. But the paradise don't exist and for two nights we had to endure an unbearable and irritable noise all night. There was a loose manhole cover in front of the hotel that whenever passed a car was an annoying noise. I had a lot of trouble sleeping. I hope that the problem no longer exists.

This is a clean, simple hotel, well located close to Riazor beach and very good value for money.
The staff is professional and courteous, the rooms are clean with good-sized bathrooms and the wifi - for professional travellers etc - is good: download speeds of over 10Mb.
The hotel has its own carpark for extra charge.

For the last 1,5 year I have been travelling quite a lot on a weekly basis so I have to stay many nights out home. However, there are a few hotels that make my trips a bit more confortable. One of them is Zenit La Coruña where the general manager can easily serve you a coffee if all the staff is busy on duty.
While in, you can use a high internet broadband so you are able to work as in your office, you can go to the restaurant to have a nice dinner or staying at the lobby having some read.
I will keep coming to this place while is my decission to have choise for any of my future stays at La Coruña

My husand and I concluded our visit to Galicia by staying 2 nights in A Coruna. This hotel did not disappoint! We took a bus to A Coruna from Finisterre. The bus station is a bit of a distance from the hotel so I would recommend getting a public bus to the hotel. My husband and I wanted a bit of a challenge and we decided to walk as we didn't have much luggage and it took us approx 45 mins.
The location of the hotel is around the corner from the beach which was fanastic as it was great to walk along the promenade while taking in the gorgeous views. It is walking distance from the old town approx 15 mins. We don't mid walking on our holidays so we walked to the Museum of the Body which was about 20 mins away and then to the tower. There are public buses you can take to the tower and pretty much anywhere else you want to go. There was a trolley that use to go along the perimeter of the tourist parts of the city but is no longer in use (something to do with the lines needing to be repaired).
For those who are football fans the hotel is also located walking distance from the stadium. (approx 15 mins)
The room was air conditioned and very nicely decorated in modern sleek fashion. It has a nice entrance hallway which makes your room feel very big. There is a very generously sized flat screen television, lovely closet with safe and ultra comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and had really nice fluffy towels.
We did not have breakfast at the hotel as it was not included, instead we walked to the cafes located off the plaza behind the hotel.
Overall I was very happy with my stay at this hotel and would recommend it to others. I would definitely stay again if I were to return to A Coruna.

The Zenit Coruña was good , great centre location. The Buffet breakfast was fine. Make sure you're down before 10.00 or all the bacon and eggs will be all gone. The rooms were very clean, if a wee bit small. The hotel staff were very helpful. La Coruña is a lovely city.We loved its beaches, old buildings, culture and character. The people were so nice - I spoke some Spanish which helped. When exploring, take the lovely walk along the promenade to the Hercules Tower. We ate out at the Marina, great food. If you're coming by train, then take the bus into the city centre, it cost only €1.15. We're going back next year. PS my wife loved the shops y yo tambien !

We spent 5 nights of our vacation at the Zenit--four at the beginning and then the last night before our flight out of the airport in A Coruna.
What a great location! Just a block from the beach....We enjoyed our walks along the promenade.
The rooms were a bit small, but not terribly so for Europe. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. However, both times we had to ask for SOAP for our rooms! And bedspreads...
Parking is 12E a day but it is at least available--although they would not guarantee us a spot a week later when we returned despite our asking to book it in advance. Actually parking in the garage with the narrow turn and the narrow parking spots complete with post definitely definitely honed my husband's parking skills!!!
