The Hotel Plaza is a modern urban hotel that was completely renovated in 2015 and offers a detailed selection of high quality services to our guests. The Hotel Plaza is located in one of the most important shopping area of A Coruna, a few meters from the port and bus and railway stations and very well connected with the most worth sightseeing points of the city. In its new facilities, our hotel provides 88 spacious and bright rooms, spacious common areas, and a gastronomic area, Esencia, which is aimed to offer a unique experience that has been designed by the Michelin Star Chef, Luis Veira, great ambassador of Galician gastronomy. Esencia provides our guests with a diverse and cultivated offer in its three outlets: A gastronomic restaurant aimed to delight the most demanding palates with authentic flavours from the Galician earth, the orchard and sea in traditional specialities with the best local products using the latest cuisine techniques; A coffee bistró where to enjoy our breakfast, lunch and dinner service with a selection of traditional specialities and our delicated wine list; The Sky Bar, the jewel of the crown, a private and hidden cocktail bar in the 9th floor of our property, where to joy beautiful sunsets from Easter till the end of the summer season. Moreover, the Hotel Plaza offers an intimate Wellness Area with an indoor pool and a Hamman, as well as a library room with some play technological devises for our littlest guests.

Stayed three nights. I was impressed with this stylish modern hotel. Room 411 is compact with very tight space but has got everything you would want in a hotel except tea/coffee maker. That would make it perfect!
The room was very clean , bed comfortable, a excellent shower and good wifi. I requested a quiet room and given a room at the back.
The a la carte breakfast was the best thing with a good selection and generous portions!The scrambled eggs was cooked to perfection! The best I had in any hotel.
The receptionists (especially Iria) and the two waitresses were very friendly and helpful.
I very much regretted missing the sky bar as it was closed from 3 October and didn't use the spa.
Yes, this hotel is highly recommended. The taxi rank is outside the hotel and El Corte Inglès is a few hundred yards up the road.

We stayed here on the first night in Galicia. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, explaining how to use the parking, which was close by. We thought we had booked a smoke free room, but we ended up in a smoking room. The staff were wonderful and arranged for an extractor fan to be used in our room while we were at dinner. The room was big and comfortable and very quiet. The bed was lovely and comfortable and the bathroom was big. The shower had great hot water too. There was a safe and fridge and the wifi was great too. It is walking distance to bars and restaurants. We had breakfast in the hotel and it is a la carte due to the Covid situation. The choices were great and the food was lovely. The waiter was very efficient.

I decided to book this hotel due to the manager's comments on the whiny Brit review. I wasn't disappointed. My first room smelled strongly of tobacco smoke, and when I complained I was given another, no problem. The hotel is well located and bus stops are nearby. My room was comfortable, and the aircon worked, which is often not the case! All the usual amenities were available. The restaurant was particularly good, one of the better many hotel restaurants I've visited. I ate dinner there twice, and there is a tasting menu which is very good value. Service was excellent and friendly. Solid 4* hotel; recommended.

had a wonderful experience at the Plaza Hotel. Every staff member I encountered, from the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean, suitably decorated, very comfortable beds, and the amenities were great. The hotel exceeded by far my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Coruña.

The hotel is close to the bus station (5 mins walk) and railway station (10-15 mins), but is further from the city centre and Riazor beach. Our room faced the street but it was not noisy inside. The room was good, with a fridge that contained free bottled water. We didn´t eat there. The staff on the front desk were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is a nice clean spot in A Coruna, but not in any great location or environment. We stayed in one of the strangest rooms we have ever seen in all of our 30+ years of international travel. When you entered the room, the only thing you see is the bathroom (glass walls everywhere...yikes!). The bedroom was located up a spiral staircase and we had to lug our luggage up there. The bedroom itself was small and felt like we were in the attic. It was fine for a 1 night stay, but I would make sure you ask specifically for a 'normal' room if you choose top stay here.

This hotel is excellent. We went here in September and loved it so much we went back at the start of July. The beds are comfortable and proper king size. The air con was great, we could get Netflix on telly. Had a balcony the first time we stayed. If you can afford it I really recommend the deluxe room 9th floor. Staff are great. The spa is also great. It is a wee tad far from the port and the old town but just jump on the bus around the corner. We will definitely be back

I really can’t fault this hotel, our room on the 9th floor was lovely, just like a mini split level apartment. We were on the half board option and can honestly say it was excellent, added to this as we arrived late on our first day they allowed us to have brunch on the last day :) We had a lovely early evening relaxing spa session which was good value for money. Lastly each and every member of staff were amazing those in the restaurant in particular.

Modern, comfortable, clean, design, great staff and excellent service. I walked to the Raizor beach in 15min and to the old town in 20min. Bars and restaurants around the hotel, and the station is nearby. I'd return for sure.

First impression was underwhelming with smell of second hand smoke everywhere in this place. Sauna didn’t function and smelled bad. One guy named Adrean was helpful. The other staff will meet you with insisting that isn’t a non smoking hotel. I left two nights out of my planned 6 night stay.

De todas formas, si vas en fin de semana no te hace falta, se puede aparcar en la zona azul desde sábado al mediodía hasta lunes a primera hora, de forma gratuita, y no hay problema de sitio. Y si no, lo que te comentaban, tienen convenio con un parking que hay muy cerquita, es barato y puedes entrar y salir todas las veces que quieras.
Depende de la habitación que te toque... De todos modos las duchas son muy amplias y cómodas. Coméntaselo a la recepcionista y te ayudará en lo que esté en sus manos!!
