We did not make a reservation and the only room they had was on the ground floor with a shared bathroom. Clean and adequate the room was quiet and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was good for the old town.

This hotel is well located in the old town and within easy walking distance of the main sights. Our room was basic but clean. The wifi was patchy at times but generally ok. The room was quite hot (in late May) but the street noise was pretty loud with the window open. The breakfast was good value and easy way...

After tracking the place down we were given a large room with a private bath...on the 4th floor, no elevator. We had trepidations due to a review recently posted in Spanish a few days before our arrival. But after discussing the poor review with the staff I got the impression they didn't know anything about it, which makes me think...

We were given a double room facing the street and overlooking a beautiful church. Adequate room, tiny bathroom but clean and nice. The only problem of this hostel is the lack of lift so beware people with reduced mobility or disabled. A flight of stairs await you if you are given a room at the third floor as we were....

The reviews have been great for this Pension and therefore we decided to stay there for 2 nights. We got off the bus from the airport at Plaza Galicia and walked to the hotel... which was about 10 min and easy to find. They have a cute bar for hotel guests in the lobby which also served breakfast in the...

Stayed here twice upon reaching the end of El Camino de Santiago in 2013 and 2014. Fantastic location, slightly out of town so not too noisy, not that students care about that. A 2 minute walk from Atlantico which is one of the best bars in the old part of the city. I've only seen two members of staff, both...

I have stayed at various places after completing previous Camino’s and this time we decided to try and find something bit better than the previous budget options that we had elected to use. We had picked up a few recommendations en-route and first checked these out, but they were either full, overly expensive or unsuitable – We then stumbled upon...

We stayed here for several nights after a long camino, managed to get a decent price on the room (with breakfast included) considering the location, which is pretty well central. As we were at the very top it was a bit of a walk, but the (en-suite) room was very big and it was pretty quiet up there. Décor was...

Pension Girasol is a circa-1979 family-run place beautifully located in the heart of the old city of Santiago de Compostela. Prices are very reasonable, the daily maid service is fine.It is home to many university students, whose stomping and slamming is accompaniment to every stay. Still, the warm, welcoming family that runs this place and the cafe downstairs makes it...

This is a good basic hotel for travellers who are staying for one or two nights in Santiago de Compostela. Staff were very helpful - always friendly. Rooms were a little 'tired' and we couldn't get a Wi-Fi connection in our room. Parking was not easy to find nearby without paying a lot of money. Breakfast was excellent in the...
