A machine checks you in ( or in our case didn't , and needed to have our only human contact for the whole stay ) and after that you are on your own ! Very rustic and a wee bit cool the room was fine with a fridge , kettle with tea and coffee and a botle of mineral water....

This hotel is walking distance to Cathedral and all major attractions. Clean and quiet even though right in middle of all the action. Only problem is spotty WIFI, other than that, this is a perfect location and hotel of a great price!

Lovely rustic hotel in the centre of Santiago. Lovely rooms with views over the narrow streets and located a minute from the cathedral. Only gripe is the check in computerised system which is a hassle.

We did not really like the fact that we were 'received' by a computer instead of a person but once the check-in was done, everything was perfect. A beautiful, spacious room with some charming old elements, comfortable beds and bathroom, a waterboiler with tea bags and a double window that did not much noise come in. All this at three...

I liked the location of this hotel best of all. Check in was not easy as they had given us the wrong confirmation number and we arrived after 4pm so no one was at reception. Then our CC doesn't have a pin so they had to send someone to help us which only took 5 min but it was still...

We chose this hotel due to its location and we could not have chosen better. Just a few steps away from the cathedral. Check in is through a machine but very straight forward. No lift but fine for us as small luggage. The hotel was full of Galician features. Lovely staircase all the way to the top where there is...

This hotel is more like a collection of serviced apartments, but for the price, location and cleanliness I would definitely recommend it. Our room had great period features and exposed brickwork which was a bonus. My partner and I were at the front of the hotel overlooking the street below, but we did not notice any noise whatsoever. The windows...

We stayed for 3 nights in June after walking Camino Frances. Very happy with everything except for a little street noise at times, but that is offset by being so close to a lot of restaurant choices, including the Café on the ground floor.

Clean, safe, comfortable, big room. 3 nights after El Camino. On main pedestrian street so it's close to everything! Get around the city and be back in no time for a break or drop shopping bags. Near to peregrino office. Cons: no elevator, virtual reception

Dear Claudia. Thank you very much for your review. We're glad you enjoyed your stay in Pousadas. As for the reception, we have staff on the morning shift and anytime you can check what you want with the reception of our other hotel. Hopefully you have us on your next trip to Santiago.

I stayed here for my final night on the Portuguese Camino. It was the most expensive hotel on my trip, but Santiago is expensive. It is fairly luxurious. The rooms are charming, clean, comfortable and very central. They are very strict about check-in time, and although I arrived early, I had to wait (although I could park my back-pack). My...

Dear Foedor. Thank you for your time and your comments. We are glad to know that you liked our hotel and we are sorry that you could not rest enough. When you visit Santiago again you could stay in rooms more quiet or choose another hotel from Pousadas. Please visit our website or check on tripadvisor for them.
