I found these apartments in a search for accommodation for the Madrid marathon 2017. These were perfect being only 400m from the start. In the weeks leading up to our stay, Monica was very responsive and happy to answer any questions I had. On arrival the office was easy to find and Monica was very helpful giving us a big...

Pros: - Responsive property manager and someone was there when we arrived (not sure if this was by design or coincidence since we spoke about the same amount of limited English/Spanish) to point out the basic features of the apartment. - Convenient location to the main museums, pretty short walk to main shopping area, and a not unpleasant, but longer...

Really clean, all the basic necessities right in the heart of Madrid, within easy walking distance of all the key destinations. Kitchen was excellent for making breakfast, the street was as quiet as any Madrid street. Bed was comfortable. 20 minute walk to Sol and Plaza Mayor, 10 minutes to the Prado, 5 to the Reina Sofia and very close...

The apartment was in a great location - 15 mins walk to Gran Via, 5 mins walk to anton martin metro station and 5 mins walk to some great flamenco shows. There is also a convenient shop around the corner and about 10 bars/restaurants within a stones throw of the apartment. Hassle free check in using the code and the...

Really happy with the location 7 min walk to tourist tack attractions and lots of little bars and cafes right on the door step. Clean tidy, has a lift, great shutters so good for a sleep in after a late night. If wifi is important to you not ideal the signal only worked in the hallway right next to the...

Great place to stay. Very clean and centrally located. Nice but small balcony with a street view. We didn'n meet the staff at all. They sent me a pin-code for the doors. Wi-Fi only in the kitchen-area.

We stayed with 4 friends visiting Madrid - specifically the el Bosco exibition in the Prado- which was at appr. 5 minutes on foot). The train station was at 12 minutes. The appt. was clean and large enough for 4 people. The "inbetween" bed was a bit small for 2 persons but manageable for 1 night. There were many excellent...

Prado Apartments are very well located and perfect for a trip with a big group. The apartment where we stayed was relatively spacious and well equipped. However, the apartments also had some clear signs of under maintenance (some walls needed a fresh painting) and one of the rooms didn't had window shutters, which made very hard to sleep after the...

These apartments are well situated for exploring the Centro and beyond. They are in a quiet residential area 20-30 minutes walk from the Prada area one way and Plazza de la Republica the other way. Plenty of good local places to eat in the area. Door codes gave to be collected when you pay for your stay at the offices...

We rented a 2bedroom/1 bath apartment for a 3 night stay. We had requested an upper floor and got a 4th floor (top floor) unit with a 2nd bathroom and 2 nice rooftop terraces. Walking distance to everything including Prado museum. There is a bar 1/2 block away that was noisy one night but didn't bother our sleep. Convenient self...

Staying in Huertas

Neighbourhood Profile
Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The neighbourhood is committed to celebrating its rich heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas receives a fair amount of spillover from the center — side streets around Plaza Santa Ana take on a foreign party atmosphere at night, and you always see young backpackers navigating the streets — but as you descend into the neighbourhood, everything becomes a little more cramped and slightly less refined, and takes on more of an underground feel. Live music is at the heart of Huertas: by night, its subdued bars are ideal for meeting friends, sipping cocktails, and chatting quietly while enjoying jazz or singer-songwriter performances.
